COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg and bottle: Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Bottle. Drank out of, in fact. I have had this a few times before, it’s not the best. I was on a boat on this occasion and it was the only beer available. The flavour has notes of orange and spice, mainly clove. It’s a very carbonated beer. Not my favourite blond ale.

Een iets steviger blond bier, valt bij heel veel mensen in de smaak. Maar ik hou meer van een bier met iets meer body

Nice intro to Belgian style beers here. Kind of strange to think it started out as a drink made by and for monks like eight hundred years ago, and I wonder what it really tasted like back in the old days..... Anyway, today’s version is tasty enough, and definitely provides a smooth baseline standard for other beers from this country to measure up to.

Mild and lovely taste. One of the best Belgian beers I have tasted so far.
