"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Bah, not at all my cup of tea. Industrial mass-produced blond beer. Too sweet. The only thing AB Inbev was good for is the promotion of Belgian beer abroad. But they aren’t brewers anymore but bankers without respect for the product.

11.2oz bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a clear dark gold with a finger of white head. Aroma of banana, clove and citrus. Taste is lightly sweet and mirrors aroma. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Soft carbonation and a long finish. Overall, pretty good. I wouldn’t seek it out but I would drink it again.

Under rated over performer. One of the most consistent crowd pleaser out. Not much in the aroma category but it is what it is. A very solid blonde that can satisfy even a dark/stout lover like me. Again their consistency is outstanding in my opinion. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear, bright, bronze color. Head is 1 inch and tons of tiny bubbles continuously rise to the top. Lacing was great and so was head retention. First smell is a spicy, peppery yeast. Some cloves also there mixed with straw malts. No hops or alcohol are detected. Smells are a combination of a BPSA and a hefeweizen. Taste is of pale straw malts, light corn and crayon. Hops arent present and alcohol is slightly detectable. Spice like cloves are in there mixed with some off flavors that somewhat distract from the beer. Mouthfeel is light and effervescent. Carbonation is high as typical for a Belgian ale but not overpowering. Head contributed to the overall smoothness of the beer nicely. Overall this beer was semi sessonable and cheap for its style. There were some off flavors that detracted from the enjoyment of the beer and that prevented it from obtaining a higher score.

One good regular beer without pretentions. Good foam, nice darker color, good carbonated. Favorite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A genuinely fine, nearly perfect Belgian. The smell, the taste, it’s so distinct.

Nice deep golden / light amber color, beautiful head and real yeasty aroma. Smells like rising bread. Sweet bannana walnut bread flavor, with a hint of orange rind and clove coming through end the end. Maybe a bit of grassiness too. Body drinks heavier than it would seem, full creamy mouthfeel. Would pair up well with a salad with goat or sheeps cheese in it , and some crusty European bread.

Nice golden color with descent white head. Sweet malty aroma with spiced Belgian yeast tones that pretty much carry through the taste. Not my favorite blonde but not bad. Cant believe I forgot to rate this when I lived in Belgium haha!

Dark golden pour with a frothy white head. Aromas of pine, grass, hops, malt, citrus. Lively and refreshing on the palate. Slightly tangy initially which mellows into a nicely balanced flavour profile. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden colour, smells yeast, some floral notes. Good first palate then watery and a quick finish.
