"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Faint yeast aroma, golden clear pour. Honeyed apple flavor with yeasty funk rising behind it. Rather crisp. Very nice.

Foam: white head Colour: very clear a little dark golden Aroma: notes of sweet banana, yeast, hints of bread, herbs and smoke Taste: more than medium carbonated, too sweet honey notes and a hint of spice malt and vanilla, lack of hoppy taste, smooth texture, light to medium body, but not to good compare the other Belgian beers, this is almost the commerce classic but still better than other commerce beer

I like beer from Belgium but this one disappoints. Has a weird aftertaste, not smooth, but I like the 6.6% for its afterglow. Bad aroma, bad taste, will not buy again. This one came from Grocery Outlet which is a good place to find beer at discount prices, have found some great ones there.

Leffe Blonde bottle served in a branded glass at Mekju Changgo.  Clear gold with a filmy head. Fruity wheat menthol nose. The taste is decent fruity clove wheatiness with a decently full body.  OK but not all that blonde to me.

Bottle 75cl. Pale golden color with moderate head, which lasts for a long time. Smell: Hints of clove and fruity flavours are salient, also Belgian yeast is noticeable. Taste: Very fruity and balanced. Orange and citrus aromas are detectable. Little bitterness in the finish. Overall: Nice beer. I like it.

Bootle @ Dining Room!
Pours perfectly clear, bright & blonde with a big head and good lacing on the glass.

The aroma is sweet and spicy, a touch skunky up front but that fades. It’s got a lot of clove going on & it’s got some raw sort of husky malt happening too.

The flavor is fruity, spicy, & sweet. It’s got a sort of spiced banana bread thing happening with some clove, plenty of sweetness, and a good bit of banana. It’s a touch heavy on the booziness.

I’ll admit to enjoying this perhaps more than I remember enjoying it last time I had it long ago.

Best Before 7/24/10: I expected this to be a little better, being an abbey and all. Most of the other abbey’s I had were either doubles/triples or just a bit thicker/tastier than this. A standard Abbey that I am thinking of that I maybe preferred more was Rare Vos? Anyways, a better than average beer with a golden/copper appearance. The appearance was also very clear and thin. Semi-fruity taste with yeasts and hops in the backround......a little bit of malt. I wanted to try something new, and was in the mood for a Belgian. Still have another 5 to sample, so may be doing an update...but as of now don’t think I would buy again.
