Bottle. The aroma is phenolic. A little like the odor of a Spanish olive. The color is coppery, and the white head is vigorous. Medium bodied. Moderately carbonated. Fruit, spice and some sweetness. The finish is decent, and the aftertaste is tolerably fruity and lightly spicy. Good to drink.

Bottled: Golden coloured. White medium lasting head. Aroma is yeasty, malty and light spiced. Flavour is yeasty and has some spices present. Alcahol is surprisingly notable. Has a clean and dry finish. This might be good as a introduction to belgian ales.

Bottle... RBSG2005... Golden ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Good retention with thick, creamy lacework. The aroma and flavor are all about banana and clove. A little too sweet. Medium-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. Lengthy, sweet, spicy finish.

(33cl bottle, bought in Bochum) Clear, golden colour with a big but not very persistent foamy white head. Sweet, slightly sugary grainy and slightly fruity nose with dust and faint hoppy notes. Sweet, slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt-character, slightly grainy and fruity taste; moderately sweet, slightly tart and alcoholic finish with subtle fruity elements. Standard brew (10.03.08).

Hefig-hopfiger Antrunk ohne den säuerlichen Unterton, den ich mir bei Weizenbieren immer so wegwünsche. Dabei bleibt der hefige Ton weiter vorhanden, eine würziger Ton unterstützt dies leicht, er ist fast zu vernachlässigen. Dezent fruchtig mit bitterem Beiton, der passend ist. Dieses Hauptaroma bleibt bis zum Abgang bestehen und dominiert auch hier, auch wenn eine dumpfe Alkoholnote aufkommt. Nettes Bier!
