"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Appearance: Light orange-yellow, two finger tight head. Aroma: Doughy yeast, cloves and banana, not particularly complex but strong. Palate: Medium. Taste: Strong flavours of doughy yeast and cloves, with hints of banana and other spices, tasty but not particularly interesting or complex. Finish: Yeast, and, cloves. Overall: A pleasant yet simple example of it’s type, not highly recommended, especially considering that the far superior La Trappe Blonde can be purchased in a four pack for considerably less than a four pack of this (at least here in New Zealand), but a decent enough beer as an introduction to the style (as it was for me).

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a frothy white head. Nose has banana, cloves and belgium yeast. Taste is light bodied- zesty belgium yeast and banana tones. Thin palate. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Clear orange colored beer with a frothy white head that caves in pretty quick. Yeasty aroma. Clear malts also, bit of fruits as well. Some spices far away. Not astonishing, yet not unpleasant also. Taste is moderately sweet with a nice malty (caramel, sugar) and yeasty kick. Clear banana and spices (cloves), some fruits, slight alcoholic kick and a soft bitter, dryish and spicy finish... Some citrus as well. Very smooth and refreshing. Nice. Medium bodied, nice creamy mouthfeel (bit sticky on the lips), and quite a lively carbonation. Nice brew in general. Easy drinkable and decently tasty ale. Not that complex and certainly not the most outstanding beer ever made, but just a plain good beer within its kind. Never a bad choice actually.
