Uses Vieux Temps yeast.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Pours clear yellow. Thick head with alot of lacing. Aroma is spicy yeast and very mass lager-like. Flavor is sweet and bubblegum-ish. Some spicyness in the taste. Medium body and very plain. Cool looking fancy bottle.

Aroma a malta y cítricos.

Barry white in a velvet speedo, followed by a kick from a wild mule. Its super smooth with a surprising alcohol content that is masked by that smoothness, creeps up slowly. Nice beer, no means the best of Belgium but fairly solid. Nice beer.

Bottle. Sweet aroma. Light golden in color. Sweet taste, but a good balance of hops. Just the right amount of carbonation.

Bottled. Pours clear golden color huge frothy creamy white head. Aroma is typical belgian ale. Lots of Belgian yeast, fruity esters, banana, cloves, little bit of pear, little bit of dark fruit. Flavor is light, crisp, lots of banana, honey, sweet malt, belgian yeast. Fairly traditional. Solid, nothing exceptional, but very solid.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2015 OK, I’m being harsh on the note, but I really don’t like this beer that sometimes people see as the symbol of Belgian beers. It’s an industrial beer and unless I have the choice between this and a Bud Light, I wouldn’t have it...
