"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

Sometimes a I'm in the mood for a good Belgian but don't have the stones or the stomach to ingest the normally high alcohol and appreciate the complexities contained therein. That's when I pop open a Leffe Blond. It's like a really good beer that's been watered down a bit... It's still good, but not as intense.

Clear dark gold, almost amber color. White creamy 2 finger head, lasting 2 -3 minutes, with thick legs. Aromas and flavors of fruits, citrus, clove, and herbal spices. More sweet than sharp, very flavorful and perfumed , but with a slight alcohol taste. Slick light body with ample carbonation. Short but well intensified finish, ending on the sweet side with a fruity aftertaste. Overall : Fresh and tasty, but a little too much for a pale ale, taste more like a wheat beer or tripel.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Another re-visit. Had plenty of times in the past. Pours hazy blonde. Nice sweet yeasty aroma. Taste is pillowy soft, some nice vanilla yeast with some alcohol strength. Good Belgian blonde.

A proper beer industry, with adjusted price it offers. Without many complexities, a slight alcohol. A good beer to take without pretension but with correction.

I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.33 l bottle from a friend. Golden colour. Aroma is fruits and spices. Taste has fruits from the yeast. Quite refreshing despite the 6.6% ABV. A decent Belgian Blonde.

"I got this out of a belgian sampler pack, it was my least favorite of the three. (hoegarden & stella artois were the other 2). However it is a dencent beer worth trying. Pours a nice slightly orange body with a nice creamy cap. Hints of spices and friuts, clean finish. worth a try"
