"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

THOUGHTS: Way better than I thought it would be. Much more complex than I would have thought for something owned by AB InBev. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium, golden with nice carbonation and an average, somewhat rocky, ever so slightly off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lacing. The aroma contained moderate, light bread, pale malt and cracker; moderate spicy and fruity yeast; grape; pear; white wine; honey; and apricot. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and slightly acidic; while the finish was moderately sweet, slightly sour, moderately acidic and lightly bitter with an average duration. There was pale malts, cracker, spicy yeast, slight hops, fruity yeast, a little citrus, perfume hops, white wine, grape, pear, apricot. The light to medium body was sort of syrupy and then dry with very fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish.

0,33l bottle. Golden colour with quickly shrinking small white head. Aroma: Sweet, candy sugar, banana but something sour is hiding. Taste: Sweet fruity start then medium bitterness. Something is wrong. I feel a lot artifical taste, watery too. This beer wasn’t feel the same that the one in my memory. Medium carbonation and body. Bitter/sour finish. This was a great beer 2-3 years ago. Now...just a good one, but something just isn’t right.

33cl bottle at home. Pours a clear golden colour with a decent white head which leaves lacing. Aroma of vanilla, spices, malt and yeast. Taste is very sweet with a moderate bitterness, finish is fairly sweet. Texture is sticky with average carbonation.

Very nice colour, sweet, not to bitter, mass production though for many people the step up to trappist and stronger ales. Not the best, but certainly not the worst also...

Clear hints of vanilla, spice, no dryness to speak of. A fan of some Belge, not this one, however. Too sweet, really not my cup of tea.

Nice golden colour, good bouquet and creamy white head. An excellent Belgian brew even though mass produced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.1L from tap at Hawidere, had it elsewhere too. Clear golden appearance with frothy head; mild typical belgian yeast smell, malty and also banana aroma; sweet and spicy taste.

Never rated this? Pretty sweet and full of malts and I probably just guzzled the previous ones. This is like the pale ale of belgian ales. Yeasty at a mild level, cinnamon hides, cloves, caramel, i just ate half the skin off my left hand.
