Keg and bottle: Filtered.
Uses Vieux Temps yeast.
"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

THOUGHTS: Way better than I thought it would be. Much more complex than I would have thought for something owned by AB InBev. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium, golden with nice carbonation and an average, somewhat rocky, ever so slightly off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lacing. The aroma contained moderate, light bread, pale malt and cracker; moderate spicy and fruity yeast; grape; pear; white wine; honey; and apricot. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and slightly acidic; while the finish was moderately sweet, slightly sour, moderately acidic and lightly bitter with an average duration. There was pale malts, cracker, spicy yeast, slight hops, fruity yeast, a little citrus, perfume hops, white wine, grape, pear, apricot. The light to medium body was sort of syrupy and then dry with very fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish.

This beer is a Clove Bomb. I understand that is all part of the Belgian character, but, for me, it was so overwhelming I could not pick out much of the other characteristics. From a blind tasting exam, I would have said it was homebrew or an American interpretation of a Belgian Blonde...

Flaska från Crille, tackar! Klar gyllengul vätska med ett mastigt vitt skum. Doftar kraftigt av jästen och honungssötma. Söt smak med med en viss sträv bitterhet. Inte min stil, men funkar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

True to its style this blonde beer has a light golden hue that pours well with a solid but not sturdy head. At first taste your palate enjoys a bit of bitterness but that quickly gives way to an overwhelming sweetness that is defined by tastes of brown sugar, roasted cashews, and syrups. The sweetness lingers on the tongue but balances nicely over time. Overall an enjoyable well executed blonde beer, however it is a bit too sweet for my tastes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fantastica miscela di sapori. Colore ambrato. Gusto intenso. Amara quanto basta. Retrogusto durevole e davvero gradevole.

Tap. Clearish amber. Decent lacing. Yeasty, candi nose. Tastes of candi sugar, clove, yeasty. Solid... but drat, tricked into an InBev beer!

Golden. Foamy, dense and persistent eggshell coloured head and lacing. Aroma and taste of coriander, bananas and weissbier. Round mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation.

Large champagne bottle of beer. Pours with a creamy wheat beer type head. Pallate is smooth and strong. Taste immediately of sweet clove with little hop. It tastes stronger than the 6.6 ABV. Very sweet beer. Nice chilled. Can’t knock InBev for this one.

A clear golden appearance with a rocky white head. The aroma is of honey and malts. Tastes sweet but balanced. Almost no hops. It has a high carbonation with a smooth but rather watery palate. Good beer to have with food, not exactly for tasting.

Cerveja deliciosa, desce redonda e fácil. Aroma bom e marcante, sabor consistende. Ótima para acompanhar refeição.
