"Leffe Blond is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink."

330ml bottle from Tallinn. Pours clear amber with a white head. Sweetish, citric aroma with some toffee or caramel. Citric notes, sweetness, yeast and grain in the flavour. A bitter finish.

A bit bitter with some sweetness, come prepared for bananas. Somewhat bready yet refreshing, this beer is definitely worth the six Stellas you have to power through in the Belgian mixer. Seriously though, expect bananas.

Orange to brown colour with some nice blonde head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, sugar and caramel. Syrupy mouthfeel and sweet taste. Not much of a finish. Vert easily drinkable, but you cannot drink much of it. This was one of my first entries to beers other than pale lager and it’s a very good entry level Belgian ale.

Une blonde (roussé) un peu amère qui se boit facilement. Un arrière goût plus marqué que beaucoup de blonde la place à part. Une bière agréable à consommer mais qui peut surprendre ce qui s’attende à une pure blonde.

Pours a slightly dark, clear, straw colour with a creamy, off-white head that fades. Smells of hops, spice, bananas, with hints of vanilla. Tastes slightly crisp with notes of hops spice. A decent brew. Would buy again to change it up.

Very enjoyable, not as full body as many other Belgian beers but still has a lot of taste. Good for session beers and refreshing. Is sold in many countries around the world, not to pricey, good beer!

Leffe Blonde is a decent Belgian ale - not as full-flavored as Duvel, tastes more similar to a Tripel Karmeliet but not as wheaty. Aroma is fragrant - a mix of wheat, spice, apricot and banana. Beautiful deep gold in colour, almost amber, but head is disappointingly weak and disappears quickly. Taste is sweet without being too sweet, with a slightly bitter finish, like drinking a sunny day in the fields. Medium body, like a slightly more oily lager. Overall, not bad at all for the style, but would take a Duvel over it, or the Leffe Brune.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy banana, bubblegum, clove, and sugar. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a two finger off-white head that has good retention. There is some light dotted lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with banana, bubblegum, Belgian yeast, and candi sugar. The finish has light to moderate spice (mostly clove) and just a hint of grass. It’s medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, flavor-wise it’s similar to a sweet Hefeweizen.

On tap 4 oz. sample at the Lost Dog Cafe in McLean, VA. Clear, bright light amber with an off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of light fruit (mainly apple, pear, banana and lemon), cloves and sweet light malt. Taste of caramel, cloves, yeast, banana, spice and light fruit. Medium/light body and high/medium carbonization. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
