Bottle, 33cl - Clear dark red brown beer with a large frothy cream head. Aroma is malty with notes of roasted malts, yeast, and dried fruits. Flavor is sweet malty with notes of chocolate, dried fruits, nuts and butterscotch. Very good for being an industrial beer!

(bottle) Poured a dark brown-red colour. Foamy head which subsided within a few mouthfuls. Aroma was of prunes and sweet chocolate! A very smooth beer with no unpleasant aspects whatsoever. Faint bready and phenolic notes which hides the alcohol very well. I have rated this beer highly, but my favourite from Leffe is still the Vielle Cuvee.. mmm
