Malty, brown sugary aroma.Taste is sweet, prunes, raisins bitter end. blackbock (34), Australia Jul 27, 2009 (bottle) Poured a dark brown-red colour. Foamy head which subsided within a few mouthfuls. Aroma was of prunes and sweet chocolate! A very smooth beer with no unpleasant aspects whatsoever. Faint bready and phenolic notes which hides the alcohol very well.
