3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
750ml bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. Nice sweet, honey, syrup and yeasty aromas. Pours quite clear, golden, with persistent white head, some lacing. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste is kind of artificial, sugary, some honey flavours in the end. More or less balanced.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20
From bottle into Westmalle goblet. Nice pour - a wide conical uprising of white head juts above the glass rim. Color is pure gold (honey?). First impression is syrupy and too viscous for a 5.5% beer. Then it evolves into a really nice honey flavor, and then it becomes a bit oversweet or artificial. So, kind of an interesting one, but I’ll stick with the blond/brune.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Delhaize in Oostend, pours glden with a thin white head, nose is promisingly tart to begin with, palate is dryish and typically Belgian, almost with Tripelly notes, gradually the honey starts to come through in both the nose and the body, and sweetness builds up in the mouth becoming a bit cloying as the drink progresses. Better than it could have been.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Medium to good, very fine & dense just-yellowish head over finely carbonated clear yellow-golden beer. Indeed very honeyish nose. Intense, as in honingbollen . Sweet, and slightly toasted. Bitterish lining around again honeysweets, honeytoffees. As indeed, liquid candy. Feels somehow overcarbonated. Quite slick, light to medium bodied, but the finish manages to be watery. It’s - typically InBev - nowhere BAD - it’s even technically quite good. It’s just... so uttely soulless.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
75cl bottle, brought from France and shared at a party. Too sweet for any serious craft beer drinkers, but it’s not too shabby if you see it as a beer-flavoured lemonade. Almost as sweet as the mead they served at the Renaissance Fair.

Golden color, small head. Smell of poor beer and some honey. Overly carbonated, that helps to break the artificial sweetness, saccharin, mild honey flavor, almost no bitterness.
