Bottle from the Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has golden blonde color and a large white head. In the aroma tones of vanilla, flowers, cloves, fruits and a lot of honey. The taste is light sweet with a bitterness in the end. Further a lot of honey and the standard Leffe taste. The finish is sweet with a light bitterness. Pretty standard this beer, I prefer a Leffe blonde.

Bottle at Craig’s. Better than the Ruby, and I say that as someone who doesn’t like honey beers.

75cl bottle from Tesco, Camberley. An immediate aroma of honey as soon as the corked bottle is opened; a deep straw colour with a fast fading white head; very sweet in the mouth, with the honey dominating the taste, there’s just a touch of grain to the body to show this isn’t a mead; the finish is more sweet honey - enough to give the felling that your teeth are rotting away. OK, I admit to liking sweet things - but this is way to sweet for me.

0.75 Litre cork and caged bottle: BBD 8th Mar 15. Shared at the August Shrewsbury bootle swap. Golden and clear pour, white head and clean lacing. Too much honey for me (and the rest of the group), I tried to enjoy it but it just seemed to get sweeter and sweeter with each sip: had to gulp it down to get rid of it. If you strongly into honey this is for you, otherwise leave it on the shelf.

Bottle, 25cL. Home. A clear golden yellow beer with orange hues. Medium white head, average persistence. Aroma of caramel, honey, light herbal and fruity. Medium to heavy sugary sweet, light bitter. Medium body, silky (nearly oily) texture, average carbonation, lasting sweet finish. Overall, pleasant aroma, a bit too sweet in my opinion.

Very present honey aroma, which isn’t as present in the taste, however after a few sips it becomes rather overly sweet. One or two will go down, after that you’d want to switch to something else, too sweet for my taste.
