75cl bottle, brought from France and shared at a party. Too sweet for any serious craft beer drinkers, but itís not too shabby if you see it as a beer-flavoured lemonade. Almost as sweet as the mead they served at the Renaissance Fair.

Bottle. Pale gold with a bubbly head. Aromas are honey with butter and grain. Lemon with soft spices. Flavours are vegetable fat with sweet, cloying honey and lemon lozenges. Brown sugar with a an earthy apple finish. Gave me a headache.

Bottle from Tesco (somewhere), Wednesday 19th November 2014 Pours clear gold with a white head. Far too sweet, honey is evident, just a sweet cloying mess of a beer. Not great at all. A5 A4 T5 P3 Ov10 2.7

Clear golden, mid sized head. Balsamic honey aroma. Very sweet with light-medium body and somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Vegetables dipped in thick layers of honey. Low bitterness. Very similar to eastern european commercial honey lagers.

750ml bottle. The aroma is fruit and honey with the latter being more prominent. The first taste is over sweet. As you drink more you get used to the sweetness and it becomes quite enjoyable. Very smooth but a wee hit sickly.

Looks rich golden with a solid white head. Honey sweetness and rich malt aroma. Taste is dominated by hiney, with hints of spice and malts. Overly sweet.

Pours golden with a decent head that quickly disappeared. Fruity aroma, strong honey sweetness to taste and a lingering bitter aftertaste. Not my favourite Leffe beer, but not bad

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 250ml bottle poured in a tulip glass. A: Pours a clear golden yellow color forming a big and very bubbled white head with good retention and tons of lacings left in the glass S: Very strong on honey followed by the traditional Leffe spices and bready yeasts. Some flowery hops. Notes of sweet grains, candy sugar and raisins T: Follows the nose. A sweet malts, honey and candy sugar upfront. Followed by sweet bread, raisins, bready Belgian yeasts. Very mild hoppy bitterness in the end M: Medium and molasses body. Medium carbonation. Sweet grains and honey aftertaste with a light touch of hops bitterness O: Good drinkability. A bit too sweet I would say. But still an easygoing beer :) [ BA Review @ 12/19/2012 ]

Całkiem niezłe miodowe piwo. Do Ciechana Miodowego mu jeszcze daleko ale i tak nie źle.

Clear golden beer with a foamy head with a pungent, fruity nose. Flavour has an initial shock of honey but it mellows after that, becoming a slightly milder variant on the Leffe blonde. Itís not really what I expected that that sugary-sweet hit up front but itís very drinkable.

Bottle from Cora supermarket, Saint Malo, Brittany, France. Golden coloured with a sweet toffee and honey flavour followed by a sugary, sweet fruity finish.
