75cl bottle, brought from France and shared at a party. Too sweet for any serious craft beer drinkers, but it’s not too shabby if you see it as a beer-flavoured lemonade. Almost as sweet as the mead they served at the Renaissance Fair.

330ml bottle (Chmiel Cafe, Warszawa). Clear golden color. Medium size, white head, stays. Yeasty, fruity, perfume, bready and sweet in aroma. Sweet, honey, mango, fruity in taste. Mango, sweet and fruity in aftertaste. Medium carbonation.

Served in a tulip from a 750ml bottle. Pours hazy gold with a thick white head, medium lacing. Aroma is lots of honey, bread, yeast and malt. Taste is mainly honey, quite sweet without being sickly, and some malty notes. Thick body with lively carbonation. Very nice honey beer! I am usually not a great fan of sweet beers but this one is a really nice one!

Big bottle at home. Nose: Leffe, so vanilla with some spice. The honey is definitely there. Golden, polished appearance. Taste is obviously sweet, but with a gentle bitterness to balance. Some nice flavours going on: the usual Leffe spice, yeast and vanilla, but the honey continues. Yes, this is a sweet beer, but it isn’t actually that cloying. Some will hate this, and I’m not sure this is one I’d reach for again, but it is actually rather accomplished and enjoyable.

33 cl bottle at home. Appearance: orange golden with medium white head. Aroma: honey and sweet malts. Taste: very high sweetness with low to medium bitterness. I only taste honey. Palate: heavy body, sticky texture and medium carbonation. Way too sweet.

Bottle at home pours a clear orange colour with a big frothy white head on top. Aroma of honey, malts, slight caramel, metallic, yeast. Taste is very sweet and low bitter with a sweet honey-like finish. Notes of honey, yeast, malts, again something metallic. Oily texture, medium to light bodied and average carbonation. As lemonade, easy to drink just very unbalanced

750ml bottle from Asda, shared. Pours gold with a small white head. Aromas of honey and malt. Taste dominated by honey, very sweet, tastes perhaps a bit artificial. Not balanced.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a large white head. Honey, yeast, malty aroma. Flavour is also lots of honey. Not my kind of thing.
