330ml bottle served in a Leffe chalice. A: Pours a dark clear amber color forming a big beige fluffy head. Medium to low retention and some lacings left. Beautiful beer S: Very fruity. Dark fruits esters, mainly plums. Sweet candy and strong notes of sweet malts. Belgian yeasts. Hints of alcohol T: Follows the nose. Sweet upfront. Sweet candy, caramel malts, dark fruits (mainly plums). End is composed of a smooth hoppy bitterness which is just pleasant M: Medium to heavy mild molasses body. Sweet upfront and mild bitter hoppy aftertaste O: Easy drinking beer. Despite of being a large scale beer, Leffe is still a nice Belgian style beer [ BA Review @ 7/14/2012 ]

33 cl carrfor. Mellanbrun färg med fint skum. Doftar torkade frukter och mandel. Smakar massor av torkad frukt. Fantastisk god. Smakar inget alkohol trots den höga procenten.

Piwo o dużym bogactwie smaków, chyba za dużym bo nie do końca wiadomo na którym się skupić. Ogólnie bardzo przyjemne, treściwie z głębokim owocowym posmakiem.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A dark brown opaque beer with light brown hues at the bottom of my glass. Medium off-white head ; poor retention. Good lacing. Aroma of caramel, roasty malt, fruit (prune), spices. Medium sweet, light bitter. Warming background. Medium to full body, oily texture, medium carbonation, sweet warming finish. Overall, a good brown spicy fruity belgian ale.

It’s pleasant enough, but is no where near as complex or deep or complicated as the label would have you believe. I though the alcohol was too much to the front, but the level of bitterness was right and the sweet malt carried well. I enjoyed it with the foods I was eating and would have happily had another, but this isn’t a world class work

Pours a rose wine colour, short lived head, no real smell, I really enjoyed this, distinct Leffe flavour with a backdrop of sweet fruityness and slight bitter edge

Bottle BBE 6/5/16.Well-chilled. Notes of lemon meringue pie underpinned by barnyard aromas. Clear amber body with a reasonable, off-white, moderately-tight head. Medium sourness and bitterness with a light alcohol harshness. Light sweetness present. Medium body with a creamy texture and lively carbonation. Lasting bitter finish.

This was one of my go-to beers in Israel because it was so readily available there. It has a good aroma after the initial pour (with a nice craggy foam head as well) the first notes are of almonds, cherries, and toffee. It has a subtle sweet boozy-cherry taste but in a very pleasant way. It’s highly carbonated so the mouthfeel is clean and a little adhering. The aftertaste is again, sweet and clean. It’s a good quality mass produced Belgian beer, though nowhere near as impressive as many other Belgian brews from smaller companies.
