UPDATED: FEB 12, 2012 33cl bottle, 8.2%, 1.60€, best bef. may ’13. Clear dark amber to red color, less than one finger light beige fine head, good lacing. Fruity nose. Massive fruityness, candy fruits, red fruits (cherry, raspberry). Sweet malts wrapping with spices and moderate hops. Balanced bitter finish, that’s quite dry and not sticky. Creamy texture, full bodied, dense still not too thick. Well hidden alcohol, cound say this is a 6.5%. Fizzy carbonation. Sipped long for one hour or so, good.

Spicy, malty aroma which tastes a bit like a malty Belgian pale ale but this has more character than your regular Belgian pale. Delicious caramel sweetness in the middle of the tongue, peppery carbonation on the front and the malty taste follows the beer down the throat. Good beer!

Like all the beers of the Leffe range (OK, with exception of Leffe Ruby) this is a very good beer. I like its taste specially, one of my favourite beers!

ElDesmadre (378) - Mikołów, POLAND - DEC 15, 2011
Bottle. Dark brown with a small but durable head. Aroma is very fruity and spicy, with orange, coriander, cherries, cloves, mild liquorice, caramel and floral aroma. Taste is slightly sourish-sweetish upfront, very fruity and soft, and phenolic-spicy in the back, a bit alcoholic, with a phenolic aftertaste with traces of liquorice. Highly fruity yet not in a refreshing but rather mellow way.
