I really like this beer! It’s a beautiful brownish red with lesser head than most Leffe beers. It’s surprisingly smooth for an 8.2% beer. It’s got a good fruity flavor with a nice light mix of caramel. It has a good finish to me. Overall, a very impressive beer. Not a surprise for a Leffe beer.

Pours a clear reddish brown color with a thick white head. Aroma of apples with some candy. Interesting flavor of apples with a strong presence of candy, it’s sweet from the middle to the end. The body is light with a liquorous texture and moderate carbonation. Interesting, I have fond memories of drinking this some years ago, I’m glad to find I can still find pleasure in drinking it.

Bottle 0.33 l.Bought Kvickly Hilleroed. Aroma fruits and malt. Red-brown amber colour with huge beige head. Characteristic Leffe-flavour with fuits (plumbs/cherries) and citrus.

Bottled from Brussels. Dark amber color with average tanned white head. Nose is fruity and spicy. Flavor has plum (?) fruits and yeast. Aroma has more hops. Nice find on a family trip!

[1200-20080305] Tap. Mild grains aroma, not much else. Clear, dark brown amber body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Mildly toasted grains flavour has sweet boozy caramel hints. Medium body has a bit of an astringent tang. Not particularly assertive but drinkable and ’radiant’ enough to mark my latest milestone as well as end a superb tour of the country! I look forward to visiting la Belgique again some day...

Clear dark amberish coloured beer sith small off-white head. Nice central carbonation. Fruity, malty (little yeast) aroma. Full little creamy palate. Malty ending finishing off bitter, nicely balanced though.
