UPDATED: OCT 28, 2014 10/27/2014 Bottle, 330ml. Pours clear dark amber brown with a medium tall beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, fruity, berries, lightly woody. Medium bodied with a creamy mouth feel and soft carbonation. Tastes mostly sweet, very slightly bitter, maybe too sweet. Flavor is very fruity, with some sweet malt, wine flavors, strawberry, orange, spice, gentle herbal-fruity hops, light roastness, woody notes. Very nice with a complex flavor and interesting, warming, pleasant, but slightly too sweet without balancing bitter or sour flavors, but not too heavy and not at all cloying, nor sticky. Very smooth. I liked it quite chilled, but it develops nice flavors as it warms. Very good brew, and easily available. Old rating: Nice golden color with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity scent. Nice tingling carbonation on edge of tongue, then a nice foamy mouth-feel. Sweet roasted, fruity taste, pleasant alcohol taste is present as well. Turns to slight bitter-sour fruity taste, with some sweet wine quality to it. Short, sharp and very clean ending with a very nice, slightly sour alcoholic after taste that is nice to keep for a while, and highlights the tastes in the following sip.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2014 330ml bottle served in a Leffe chalice. A: Pours a dark clear amber color forming a big beige fluffy head. Medium to low retention and some lacings left. Beautiful beer S: Very fruity. Dark fruits esters, mainly plums. Sweet candy and strong notes of sweet malts. Belgian yeasts. Hints of alcohol T: Follows the nose. Sweet upfront. Sweet candy, caramel malts, dark fruits (mainly plums). End is composed of a smooth hoppy bitterness which is just pleasant M: Medium to heavy mild molasses body. Sweet upfront and mild bitter hoppy aftertaste O: Easy drinking beer. Despite of being a large scale beer, Leffe is still a nice Belgian style beer [ BA Review @ 7/14/2012 ]

Piwo o dużym bogactwie smakw, chyba za dużym bo nie do końca wiadomo na ktrym się skupić. Oglnie bardzo przyjemne, treściwie z głębokim owocowym posmakiem.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A dark brown opaque beer with light brown hues at the bottom of my glass. Medium off-white head ; poor retention. Good lacing. Aroma of caramel, roasty malt, fruit (prune), spices. Medium sweet, light bitter. Warming background. Medium to full body, oily texture, medium carbonation, sweet warming finish. Overall, a good brown spicy fruity belgian ale.
