Bought a bottle a liqor store in Leerdam. The beer has a amber color and a nice cream colored head, CO2 level is perfect. In the aroma tones of fruits, spices (coriander) and a hint of vanilla. The taste has a full body and is also powerfull. Fruity in the depth, with some roasted malts and the bitterness a dryness of the hops. The finish is long and warm, with a light bitter. A very nice Strong Ale, one of best from the Leffe series.

Bottle 0,33l. Pours an amber colour with almost no head. Aroma is moderate fruity, cherry and plums. Flavor is sweet and malty, caramel, moderate carbonation, light bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A distinctive and worthwhile difference from the main Leffe brews (Blonde and Brun). Too strong to be enjoyed in the quantity one might hope however.

Pour from a bottle, it is amber in color with adequate head that flattens fast. The liquid is rather lively. Smell raisin, taste quite sweet with a brief hint of bitterness. It’s a lasting aftertaste. Overall, something nice to drink, in the mean time, something nice to sip as well.

BB 08/06/2015. Poured a clear dark coppery amber colour with a two- to three- finger off white foamy head that retained OK then slowly diminished to a few. Laced good with sudsy rings. Carbonation high of medium sized bubbles. Aroma of sweet malt and fruits. Taste of sweet malt, slight hops bitterness and faint spices; quite sweet. Alcohol well hidden. Medium body. Long sweet and slightly spicy finish. Worth a try.

Pours a mostly clear amber colour with a foamy head. Aroma of malts, caramel, yeast, herbs and dark fruits such as cherry and raisins. Quite heavily carbonated. Refreshing, but watch out for the ABV. I’m not generally a fan of Leffe, but I enjoyed this one.

Couleur caramel, bcp de mousse. Nez de fruits sec. Gout malté et fruité avec forte note d’alcool. Forte amertume en fin de bouche.

Very nice fruity and caramellike twist that makes this one different from the other Leffe’s.

Good rich flavoured beer. Very solid malt, caramel base intertwined hints of pears and peaches. Sweet, but not overly. Full-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. A beer of character from a Global brand.
