Fruity, something bitter, a little complex.

Radieuse?…Not really…I would rather say faint…Complexity in the tranquility though…Cinnamon, pepper, coffee grain, hop bitterness…But so discrete…

Dark amber clear colour with medium size and lasting light tan head. Light floral hops and grainy malt and doughy bread yeast aromas. The immediate impression is one of medium wheat beer body and flavours. The 8.2% (well that’s what it says on my bottle anyway) alcohol is very well masked. The bitter-sweet palate is also well balanced and the finish is dry crisp and clean. Overall - quite nice, but somehwat clinical and somewhat unimaginative for a Belgian. I would imagine this is maybe how the Germans would brew a Belgian. Nevertheless, the Radieuse probably my favorite Leffe.

Amber ale style, darker in colour though. Beautiful aroma of hyacinth on first sip, Flavour bangs you of leatherwood honey and liquorice maltiness. Serving these in an abbey might be about the only way you’d get me into a church thesedays: Backs to walls boys. Magnificent

Another good looking Leffe. Fruitier and more complex than the brune. This is a far superior Leffe. There is a trappist-like foamy mouthfeel. Very nice.

Pours with a great looking golden head. The beer itsef is a lovely amber colour. It smells great too - strong and fruity. It tastes lovely, rich, fruity ans smooth. Its so easy to drink (not sickly in the slightest) - i just hope its high strength isnt deceptive. Very Nice indeed!

It’s strong, it’s fruity, it’s heavy, oh it’s another Leffe. An excellent strong Ale with a not-too-sweet fruity palate combined with some bitterness. A nice dark amber body with a smooth head. Be sure to get it in one of those one liter steins. Thumbs up!
