3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Svesse (4215) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 16, 2010
(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm, 15 Dec 2010) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity taste with dark bread, caramel, dried fruit, red berries and hints of spices. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dark bread, brown sugar, caramel, raisins, prunes, blood orange and a slightly spicy finish with some sugary sweetness. More than medium body. A decent brew from InBev, but hardly daring and with some unmistakable mass production character.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 downender (4186) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2007
330ml bottle. Amber coloured with a moderate, off-white head. Sweet aroma with some grain and spice. Flavour also had plenty of sweet malt and spice, with some orange peel and a warming alcohol finish. Good.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mabel (4129) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 10, 2008
[1200-20080305] Tap. Mild grains aroma, not much else. Clear, dark brown amber body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Mildly toasted grains flavour has sweet boozy caramel hints. Medium body has a bit of an astringent tang. Not particularly assertive but drinkable and ’radiant’ enough to mark my latest milestone as well as end a superb tour of the country! I look forward to visiting la Belgique again some day...

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Grovlam (4106) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 27, 2006
Out of InBrev/Leffe this is the one I haven’t yet comme to terms with. Blond and Brown somehow goes down better for me. Dark redis collor with a smell and tast of raisins. Bit of bread. Some notes of caramel and not bitter ending.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 skortila (4035) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - SEP 24, 2002
UPDATED: OCT 24, 2011 Beautifull white, lasting head, dark brown coloured. Fruity, sweet smell.
Taste is quite unbelievable; I mean I never tasted a beer like this before. Roasted, malty, hop biterness with some herbs. Nice smooth, dry aftertaste.
Rerate (Previous 3.9), well it had been some years and now I have tasted more stuff like it. :-) Bit alcoholic and too sweet beer.
