330 ml bottle. Amber body, beige head. Aroma has fruits, malt and some spices. Flavour has some hops and alcohol plus the same ones in aroma. House flavour is present. Don’t like it.

reakt (946) - Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 Have had this many times but never bothered rating it. This bottle’s from Sainsbury’s. Deep amber with a small off white head. Alcohol is apparent in the nose along with hints of banana, toffee and apples. Spicy taste to match with a salty, bitter edge. Medium bodied and a little flat. Probably my favorite Leffe to date but still a few to go...

More aroma, but a lot less taste than the Vieille Cuvée. Wouldn’t think I’d ever say this about a Leffe, but it’s actually a bit boring. Too sweet and a bit too fizzy.

Bottle. Nose is very sweet with lots of fruit. Cherry, raspberry, and strawberry. Clear deep red with a thin head and active carbonation.Nice flavor, surprising bitterness. Balanced with a touch of sweetness at the open and finish. Nice body.
