Wonderful dark reddish colour with a big head. Very nice aroma and flavour of roasted malts, yeast and (light) fruits. Medium bitter finish. Quite refreshing for this strong a Belgian ale.

Bottle bought at Carrefour, Calais, France. A ruby/brown coloured pour with a very healthy head on top. Sweet, caramel, Belgian aroma. Tastes sweet, caramel, fruity, spice. Pretty decent for an InBev mass produced Belgian beer.

Bottle.33cl. This is not the best leffe, but never the less it is a good beer, from a big brew-house.

Bottle. A hazy deep red/brown beer witha small and fast disppearing white head. The aroma is malty and lightly hoppy, with notes of dark fruits, caramel and a little bit of alcohol. Decent nose, but not extremely complex nor powerful. The flavour is quite sweet, sugary, with many fruity notes. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, long finish with almost medium bitterness, lightly alcoholic. Correct, but not exciting.

Hops and malt is dominating in both aroma and flavour. No actual head, though a nice amber colour.

Ruby colour with thick, white, lasting head & highly carbonated. Initial sour fruit taste. Alcohol is well hidden. Seemed to me to have a soapy aftertaste. Looks great, tastes ordinary.

Not as good as the Brune or Blonde. Nice but quickly disappearing head. Beautiful red copper colour but overly sweet and cloying.
