Pours a dark orange colour has a fair amount of carbonation but calms quickly has an aroma of wheat and dark fruits and tastes fairly smooth for a 8.2% the best out of the leffe range.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2003 Love this one. Nice malt taste, warm alcohol and a great hop finish. Lighter than a Chimay but every bit an Abbey Ale. Lovely.

Dark red/brown liquid smells of raisins and bread. Constant but small off white head. Smooth and full flavored in the mouth that did not carry over from the aroma, touches on caramel. No harsh alcohol bite only a nice warm belly.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2008 33cl bottle from Barley WIne. It poured an amber color with a big creamy white head that settles slowly in the glass. The aroma smells of fruits and malts. It has a bitter-sweet flavour and tastes of malts, fruits. It has a medium long aftertaste.

Maybe the best of the Leffe. beautiful coloured and interesting flavoured. Very enjoyable

Bottle 330 ml. Nice and sweet Leffe. Aroma is caramel, grain, and dark fruits. Tastes sweet through, with just a bit of bitterness. Colour is amber dark, with a lasting head of average size. Medium bodied, with oily texture.

Bottled, 0.33l from Presporska pivoteka, Bratislava. Deep amber color with rich beige head. Aroma, red fruit, caramel. Taste sweet, fruity, roasted malt, with nice long bitter finish. Coffee aftertaste. Nice complex beer.

I love this beer - It fills your mouth with gorgeous fruity, spicy flavours. And tops up with a thick creamy head.
