Good and strong one. Delisicious appearance with a nice amber color and the creamy and foamy head. The aroma is complex,&spicy with fruits, honey and nuts. The flavour is sweet malt and spices with some banana. Nice aftertaste.

Bottle. Poured deep red brown with a slight off-white head. The aroma developed as the beer warmed up. Initially just malty, a toffee aroma developed and then some notes that were less pleasant (cheesy, barnyard?). Full bodied with ample, but refined, carbonation giving excellent mouthfeel. The flavour is very complex, but predominantly rich and malty. When cold the initial taste has fruity (maybe apples) hints, passing through toffee / trecale and dark malt to some bitterness in the finish. As the beer warms up more flavour is released with chocolate, cherries, plums and spicyness (cloves?). Excellent beer.

The massive creamy head atop of this deep amber beer is impressive. Sweet, fruity and slightly roasted malts abound. Wonderfull bitterness and length while strength is well hidden, make this a great beer.

Surprising in its complexity. Combines the obvious sweet fruit taste with other spices, perhaps cloves, to set this beer somewhat apart. One of the better offerings from Leffe.
