La mejor variedad de Leffe que he probado nunca, incluso podría llegar a comparase con las Rochefort y la ST. Bernardus 8.

Draft... had it in a pub in Italy. Having tried only the Blond variety before )and loved it), I decided to give it a try. It ended up being a pleasant experience. A very good beer all around. Has some bitter qualities that sets apart from many other beers of its kind.

33cl bottle. Pours a dark amber with a decent eggshell white head. Nose : strong malts and caramel notes. Banana and butterscotch feeling. Sip : Nice body ; not so light with a little oily/foamy texture. Little sweet malts with floral hops makes a great balance. One of the best body/texture I know.

(330ml bottle). Pours a clear amber color with thick, foamy off-white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma has a familiar Belgian yeast note along with some fruit, and candied sugar. Taste is sweet with some bitterness. No doubt this is a Leffe beer. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lingering bitterness. Pretty good.

Leffe Biere de Printemps / Lentebier available now easily in Brussels at Carrefour. Dark amber body with huge head. Nose of Leffe malts and bananas. As inviting as ever. Taste yummy with fruits, especially bananas, and a darker malt taste. Nicely balanced. A bit sweet and doughy. Nice texture.

Very nice amber colorings with a creamy head. This was on tap in Venice. Not a strong aroma, but mostly malt and honey. Flavors of malt, honey, bread, and caramel. Good body. Leaves a clean palate. One of the better beers I had in Europe.

On draught. Amber-salmon colour, with a creamy pinky head. Aroma is floral, spicies (cardamome?), cherries, acid, but with some sweetness. Silky flavor with a bit sour ending. Taste of cherries, cinnamon, spicies.
