La mejor variedad de Leffe que he probado nunca, incluso podría llegar a comparase con las Rochefort y la ST. Bernardus 8.

Draft... had it in a pub in Italy. Having tried only the Blond variety before )and loved it), I decided to give it a try. It ended up being a pleasant experience. A very good beer all around. Has some bitter qualities that sets apart from many other beers of its kind.

33cl bottle. Pours a dark amber with a decent eggshell white head. Nose : strong malts and caramel notes. Banana and butterscotch feeling. Sip : Nice body ; not so light with a little oily/foamy texture. Little sweet malts with floral hops makes a great balance. One of the best body/texture I know.

(330ml bottle). Pours a clear amber color with thick, foamy off-white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma has a familiar Belgian yeast note along with some fruit, and candied sugar. Taste is sweet with some bitterness. No doubt this is a Leffe beer. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lingering bitterness. Pretty good.

Pretty golden red colour. Quite delicious. like candy for me. Leffe always makes quality and seems that they really know what they do.

Bottle from Belgian Beer Shop.com. colour: clear amber. Moderate white head that’s pretty stable. The aroma is very malty with lots of sweetness. This smells like a Speciale Belge. So is the taste: malty, sweet with a touch of bitterness, fruity notes. This is a good beer with a thirst quenching character.

Draught at The Jazz House, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear amber, medium creamy off-white head. Fruity and slightly almondy malt aroma with floral hops and soft phenolic notes. Medium bodied and smooth. Semi dry with medium bitterness.

Bottle of 300 ml. Colour is light brown, transparent, with a brownish two finger head of a good retention. Aroma of fruits, some caramel, a bit smokey, alcohol. Medium thickness on the body and average carbonation. Taste is also fruity and of caramel. The high ABV is not traceable at all. Overall another great beer for Leffe.
