3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark amber in color with an off-white head. A touch of cardboard, some sweet sugar and caramel, and perhaps a touch of yeast on the aroma. Mild fruit notes, mostly plum and prune. Tastes quite similar to the nose. A bit oxidized, heavy dark fruit notes, and sugar. Kind of prune-like, actually. Not awful, but not something I’d care to have again.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Bronze colour. Clear. Huge creamy white head. Excellent retention. Yeasty aroma. Candy, fresh mushrooms. Light to medium body. Sweetish taste of caramel, esters. Light bitterness appears near finish. It looks perfect. It smells intriguingly. It tastes just good. Downstairs. Nevertheless nice experience.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Leffe glass; from the fridge.
As usual for Leffe today, no real taste and no real aroma.Refreshing, but no worth the money.

Bottled, 330ml as Leffe Rossa at Brasserie St. Epvre, Nancy, France. Amber towards red with off white head. Sweet, fruity beer, light red currant note with a sweetish malty hint. Thinnish, lightly herby. It’s okay,

At bar Viriato, Sevilla. On tap, in leffe glass. With Viriato burger. At first it seems soft and nice, but in the long run you get a bit tired of it sweetness and the alcohol makes you a bit dizzy. In Spanish this is called Leffe Roja. Only on tap
