27-JUN-2013, bottle @home, from Fish & Beer. Clear golden with lasting white, lacing head. Nice aroma of yeast, overripe apples, spice, banana, toast. Taste the same with some alcohol and a bitterness that I am not so fond of. Medium body or above with quite some sweetness and medium carbonation. Finish is malty and sweet. Long, though. Nice drink.

750ml bottle from some grocery store in Paris. Pours a clear, rich golden colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is somewhat spicy and phenolic with a soft, lightly sweetened, bready malt backing. A few floral fruits, touches of toast, and yeast. Flavor is similar. Lightly floral and fruity with some spicy yeast, a nice malt sweetness with a lightly toasted bread, and a few phenols. Finishes dry and lightly bitter with a nice balance between the spiciness and soft malts. Just a slight alcohol note before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Medium, smooth body and an active, soft, medium-high carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid beer. Well balanced and pretty easy drinking. Good one.
