3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
33cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear copper color, medium sized off-white to beige head that lasts for a decent while. Smell & taste malts, lightly yeasty, some fruits: appears to be a bit banana and something else, maybe apricot but I’m not sure. Low to medium body, medium carbonation.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle @benzai. Golden yellow colour with a decent white head. Smells banana sweet, malts. Oh the bananas. I fear the bananas. I’ve got bananaphobia and this beer tries to mess with my head. But i’m not going to allow that. I will drink this beer and i will rate it. I’m stronger than this beer. Mind over matter. Bare with me... Tastes banana and malts. Again the big B. Why does a brewer like this? Just to mess with me, i guess. The carbo is quite nice and the body is medium (which is decent for this abv), but i can’t let the brewer get away with this banana crime.

Bottle 75cl. Clear filtered deep red-golden coloured. Nice typical firm head. First impression top fermenting yeast, then fruity. Very harmonic and balanced, hides alcohol very well. Nice Brew!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle by 06/12/13. Nose is abundantly yeasty, a great fresh blonde yeast, some some vanilla and honey. A really dark, dim amber-copper color with a rocky, lacing whitish head. Taste is unexpectedly dry and bitter, just a sliver of sweetness to start but then departs. Very creamy with faint fruit, but the main thrust is creamy yeast-based flavor with some golden malt. Very lightly warming. Medium-full body with some depth, classy and with enough complexity for a smile.

Finish is average, malty – some wheat and lightly sweetish, light caramel, light spiciness, faint yeast and hoppyness. Fruity and sweetish Belgian strong ale - too much caramel.
