Pours a hazy golden/light amber with a massive white head, aroma is vibrant with yeast, orange pith, and spices. Taste is slightly metallic, wheat, with some booze on the end, really thick foamy mouthful.

Nice, sweet aroma with a touch of alcohol. Nice dark honey-colored beer with a white layer of foam. Nice bitter taste with a little touch of licorice on the background. The aftertaste is also bitter, with a dry aftertaste.

Golden amber with a white head that’s soon a coat. Aroma is doughy and herbal with raw sugar, banana, cloves. Smooth and very sweet with pepper and herbs at the end as bitterness emerges. Nothing wrong with it, nothing interesting about it.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2013 Apart from the more lightness and a more filtered appearance I did not see much of a difference fro the Blonde. And I still prefer the Blonde and not only just because of the price.

Pours a small frothy light brown head that mostly diminishes. Body is clear and sparkling, hue is amber. Aroma contains grape, raisin, caramel, dough, spices and alcohol. Flavor starts off light acidic, to go to sweet and to finish in bitter and a bit boozy alcohol. Body is light with watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Aroma is promising, but drinking it is a bit a disappointment. It is a bit flat in the flavors (low complexity) and I don't really like the malty aftertaste. A fine beer to drink on an evening out, not recommended for enjoying a beer at home.

Mild is hier op zijn plaats, met tevens zijn karakteristieke Leffe laag op smaak en aroma. Aroma is licht fruitig en bloemen. Smaak idem met meer pit en wat metaal. Afdronk is bittermetaal, co2 is behoorlijk. Stevige kraag. In de zomer wellicht meer succes als doordrinker op terras.

Bottled 330ml. -Darker golden coloured, small white head, yeasty fruity nose. Moderate malty, yeasty, spicy and slight alcoholic with pleasant fruity notes. Mild spicy alcoholic finish. Quite nice.

Bottle. Golden with a dense White head. Typical Belgian spice notes. Some citrus, some coriander seeds. Reminiscent of Leffe Blonde. Solid. I’ve fond memories of Leffe as it was somewhat of a gateway beer to the Belgian style all those years ago so whenever I see a new one, I always feel the need to grab it. I think my favourite to date has been the Radieuse.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2013 33cl bottle from an Amsterdam grocery store. Copper color with a white head. "Typical aroma": yeast but also brussel sprouts? Flavor seemed like it was Leffe blonde’s bigger/bolder brother. Fine.
