UPDATED: SEP 17, 2012 A beautifully presented beer in a black, lightweight bottle with gold lettering which I was fortunate to find in Leclerc supermarche in Bologne in a 6 pack. Darker than the Leffe Blonde and stronger at 7.5% with a smooth mouthfeel, herbal, sweetish with a good hop balance. Not a complex brew, it lacks the sometimes sickly honeyed taste of the blond although it has that distinguishable Leffe taste. A very good offering from the Leffe range and one I’ll be seeking out again very soon.
