Presentation: Brown bottle, 330 ml. The neck and the crown cap are wrapped with golden foil, bearing some crowns on it. ABV 7,5%. Poured into a tulip at home. Very nice colour, deep golden, very close to orange to be more specific, with a huge three finger head on top, white in colour, thick and creamy. Very good retention after losing its 2/3 of height. Average activity in the glass. Light aroma of dark fruits and yeast. Taste is quite sweet and fruity, mostly dark fruits, plums, some raisins too, with a slighty metalic aftertaste. Medium body and high carbonation. Quite dry on the palate. Alcohol very well hidden. A good beer but a bit overpriced for what it offers.

Bottle, bought @ Vinspecialisten, Haderslev. Pours clear amber golden with a medium, creamy, white head. Aroma is sweet, Belgian sugar, yeast, light peach. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has sugary caramel, plant sap, yeast, sugar, light vinious, again some peach. Mild dryness to the finish. Okay.

Smells more of yeast than Leffe Blond, tastes more sourish and feels less balanced. A nice enough beer, especially to food, but nothing to write home about. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled from Genk. Dark golden color with huge fluffy head. Hoppy nose. Aroma is hops with some yeast , koriander and lime. Flavor is hops, hops and hops with sweet candy and lime making it comples and a flat bitter finish.

Zacht, zwaar blond bier zonder bijzonder smaak karakter. Afdronk lang en prettig. Geur valt tegen.

The aroma is roasty like toffee, with hops of grass. Pours clear, amber orange with a minimal white head. The taste is medium sweet, like champagne. Carbonation also is soft, champagne-like. Oily texture like the normal Leffe. Long finish. Makes for a good special Leffe, if you like Leffe Blond, you will like this as a special Leffe.

fles 30cl kleur: goud met witte schuimkraag. Ziet er mooi uit. geur: metalig, vreemde neus smaak: evenals de geur. Erg onprettig. Een flinke onvoldoende

330ml black bottle in a 6 pack from Casino, Marseille. More malt, more hops, more flavour, more strength and a fuller mouthfeel in a prestigious black bottle. A recipe for success for one of the most successful brands in Europe? No - it lacks the balance, the delicacy, and the sheer joy of the regular blonde Leffe. It will sell as a prestige beer for special occasions, but not in the volume of the blonde.
