Bottled. Clear golden color, medium lasting white head. Aroma is quite spicy, slight grassy hop. Quite like the regular Leffe Blonde. Medium sweetness in taste, some caramelly malt, slight bitter. Bit sticky on the palate. It’s decent Leffe quality, but nothing spectacular. Not that I was expecting any out-of-the-box thinking, but still I had a glimmer of hope upon reading ’masterpiece from the masterbrewers’. Missed opportunity.

33CL bottle at home. Honestly I don’t think this beer is that special, it is quit a standard Leffe beer, still nice though.

TASTE: lightly sour, medium bitterness,
PALATE: full body, creamy, lively, bitter, long finish,
OVERALL: very nice blond by Leffe, with Tripel character, bit of a strong aftertaste of yeasty aromas.

Appearance: Deep golden color with a big white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Slightly sweet malty, wheat and banana.
Palate: Medium body. A mild round sweetness and a light bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Fruity, wheat and light banana.
Overall impression: Nice tasty beer.

Belgisch hefiger Antrunk, leicht süß. Etwas dunkler werdend, weiter hefig mit geringen aber typisch belgischen Gewürznoten. Milder Ausklang, süffig, nett. 10/11/10/10/9/10

Clear lively golden colour with a small white head.
Sweet caramel, banana, pear essence, starch and some malt in quite unpleasant aroma. The flavour is alcohol, mild bitterness, mild hops, sweet caramel and mild maltiness. Rather unpleasant. I don’t like Leffe and this is not an exception.

Clear coppery body, white head. Aroma has vegetable, sweet malt, alcohol, pear lemonade (made with essence). Quite oversweet. Flavour is just lemonade. Not my kind of a beer. Not blonde not tripel, just nothing.

Bottle from Belgisk Bryg. Amber colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of spice, fruit, caramel and yeast.

Pours a hazy golden/light amber with a massive white head, aroma is vibrant with yeast, orange pith, and spices. Taste is slightly metallic, wheat, with some booze on the end, really thick foamy mouthful.

Nice, sweet aroma with a touch of alcohol. Nice dark honey-colored beer with a white layer of foam. Nice bitter taste with a little touch of licorice on the background. The aftertaste is also bitter, with a dry aftertaste.
Heerlijk, zoet aanwezig aroma met de zwoele toets van alcohol. Mooie donkere honingkleurig bier, met een mooie witte schuimkraag. Lekkere bittere smaak met een lichte dropsmaak op de achtergrond. De nasmaak is eveneens bitter en heeft een droge afdronk.
