Mild is hier op zijn plaats, met tevens zijn karakteristieke Leffe laag op smaak en aroma. Aroma is licht fruitig en bloemen. Smaak idem met meer pit en wat metaal. Afdronk is bittermetaal, co2 is behoorlijk. Stevige kraag. In de zomer wellicht meer succes als doordrinker op terras.

330ml bottle (BeerGallery Luxury, Krakow) (6+:4:7+:4:14+=3.5+++)
Bold orangey gold, and the etched Lefe Royale goblet gives a tight almost creamy persistent head. Sweet heady malty belgian grainy perfumey aroma. Sweet soft palate. Sweetish malts, gently perfumey. Finish lovely and gently perfumed. Such a mellow beer. Alcohol dressed up in a disguise, but not quite hidden.

Astringent alcohol note and a tart dull tang. Strong alcohol pre dominates and is not really my taste.

Vrij dun samenhangend geheel. Erg helder voor een blond bier. Smaak doet denken aan noten. Drinkt makkelijk weg voor dit type bier. Niets bijzonders.

Copper, beige head. Mild yeast and lemon on the nose. Very light bodied. Tart. Citrus flavor and some bitterness. Surprisingly weak to be called "royale".

Bottle: Amber clear color. An alcoholic smell is quite strong. Also smell of and some malt and wood. Taste has wood and some herbs. Bitter in the middle and sweet in the end. Alcoholic taste is too dominant.

33cl bottle thanks to ruigo. Amber orange color with small initial head. Body is oily with medium carbonation. Citric hops, something fruity, some coriander flavor and slightly sweet. End dry mouth and abrupt.

from Morteau. France - quite clear amber-orange beer under a persistent creamy beige head; estery and light earthy, notes of pears underneath, some sweetness, creamy palate and full-bodied; light earthy tartness, more ripe fruity tones, some residual sweetness; light cloying in the finish
