Poured a clear amber with a fairly big, fluffy head. Aromas of strawberries and cherry. Too sweet, but flavor isn’t off-putting. If you like sweet fruit beers, I’m wine cooler, you might like this, but not for me.

Smells and looks great. Nice pinkish head. Terrible taste which is difficult to pin point. Feels like too many ingredients that don’t fit together. I couldn’t finish drinking it, which is rare.

Bottle. Ruby (duh) red body with a medium tall head. Strange aroma with raspberry seeds and roman candles after they’ve gone out. Also maybe some burning paper? Sweet taste with raspberry seeds and more burning magnesium. Sweet and really strange. I hope I don’t combust now.

Bottle, smallish head, clear light red color, aroma of red fruits, flavor of slightly overripe fruits with paper and a little unpleasant almondy bitterness, very light sourness, feels a little heavy. Not too good.

The aroma bright colors of some herbs like tarragon, a little behind berry notes. The taste sour, strong malt-sugar sweetness, the same grassy pitch. Bitterness, too grassy, slightly monotonous. The finish is slightly falls ahead unattractive the syrup sweetness, sourness and bitterness behind.

25cL Leffe glass from draft at restaurant in the old medieval city (La Cite) behind the walls in Carcassonne. I had never seen this Leffe variety, which now makes sense since its mainly made for France. Color is reddish hue of brown. As soon as I smelled it I was intrigued. I did not know this was a fruit beer and I was happy with the level of fruitiness. Hazelnut red berries, not artificial, yet earthy. I was actually surprised this was a Leffe brew. Taste is similar malty-lightly-sweet with mild sweet berries that are not artificial. A thicker mouthfeel with some carbonation that breaks it up. A surprising treat that I would definitely drink again. Not sure why all the hate, is it just b/c its Leffe?

33cl bottle. Ruby coloured, small light pink head. Pleasant aroma almost entirely of berries, probably strawberry, raspberry, cherry, maybe others and perhaps a little malt. Those berry flavours are apparent in the taste so there’s a nice sweetness, but it has quite a bitter finish, too strong for a fruit beer in my opinion, a little souring too. Watery body. It’s "ok" at best, not something I’d want to drink again.
I’m a fan of fruit ciders (Kopparberg, Rekorderlig, etc.) and compared to them this beer is awful. I say stick to the ciders if you’re wanting these flavours, they’re a much nicer more refreshing drink.
