Nice red color, clear with a lot of carbonation and a big white head. Smells very sweet and fruity. Tastes fruity, not to sweet. Almost like strawberry jelly without its sweetness. Weird.

30cl bottle at home. One of the better fruit beers. Clear red with a medium white head. Not too sweet, slightly bitter. Raspberry.

Bottle, a gift from Lakshmi, I think from Aligro in Geneva. Light thin looking pink colour, fairly high carbonation. Sweetish artificial fruit flavour, thin, sweaty finish. I know Leffe gets a lot of stick from certain quarters for being ’macro’ but I’ve always found the basic varieties quite solid. This on the other hand is a shocker and whoever was responsible should be stripped of Belgian citizenship and given a one way ticket to Bud HQ in Missouri...

Color amber red. Smell is light hoppy. Taste is clearly that of red fruit. Bright and pleasant.

33cl Bottle. Clear pinkish-red colour, pink head. Aroma of forest fruits, rosewater, hibiscus, raspberry candy. Flavour is rosewater, hibiscus, raspberry, artificial, sweet. Light-bodied. Bad.

Rubinrotes Leffe mit feinporigem Schaum. Ein ausgesprochen fruchtiges Aroma nach roten Früchten (Kirche, Erdbeere, Himbeere). Neben dem Fruchtgeschmack gesellt sich eine weinige Note, der citrusartige Hopfen kommt erst verhalten zum Schluß durch. Ausgewogenes, ja harmonisches Bier, nicht so süß wie viele belgische Fruchtbiere und auch das eigentliche Fruchtaroma ist natürlicher Art und wirkt nicht so aufgesetzt.

Smell is fruity and floral, but reminds me alittle bit of toilet dehodorant. Taste is sweet, but with unpleasant bitter aftertaste. Great pa
penality for using artificial sweetener in this beer. This has nothing to do with belgian fruit beer and it is halfway between a soft drink and a beer.

Taste and aroma remind me of coughsyrup, cherry hard candy. Not too bad, but very sweet, and somewhat medicinal in the finish.

Tap at au trappist, paris. Clear red color, white head. Fruity aroma, tart, cherry, berries. Quite sweet taste, medium co2, short aftertaste. Not my favorite, more like berry juice.

Clear pink/reddish. medium pink head.. smell sweet taste also very sweet lemonade like no feeling of alcohol drank at benzai’s place.. dont really like it.. but a decent fruit beer
