T: sweet malt, caramel, spicy, pepper, honey, yeast, coriander, very low bitterness, contents wheat so the taste is not as smooth, but still worth to try tripel, medium to full body, good carbonation.

Second best Leffe next to the royale. Smooth, very tasteful, and it’s an abbey. Hints of caramelized malts and light hops.

33cl bottle. Pours a hazy dark golden colour with a big creamy white to off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, fruits and spices. The taste is the same. Well balanced beer, one of my favourites so far. Really enjoyed this.

Bottle at Locus Publicus, Rotterdam. Pours hazy dark golden with a medium off white head. Aroma of yeast, toffee, malt, caramel and a touch of light fruit. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Taste is well balanced, nice bitters, sweetness of dry fruit.

Bottle in Brussels. Hazy amber body with beige head. Nose is caramel, bananas. Taste is also caramel, spice, bananas and fruit. Well balanced.

Pours a slightly hazy golden, topped with a fairly big, frothy off-white head. Aroma is mostly yeasty, some fruity and spicy notes can be picked up. Taste starts sweet, bread and yeasty body, some spices in the finish. Presence of alcohol can be easily noted.

Light hazy golden colour with a frothy off white head. Aromas of bread, hay, spice and fruits like orange develops. Alcohol aromatic and pretty complex. Light effervescent with a pretty slick texture, yet smooth and a full body. Mainly sweet with some fruityness developing. Lasting finish.
