4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great dark amber color, with a medium head, sweet smelling aroma. The taste is fruity with a complex spice taste to it. The creamy texture is pleasant on the palate, another great Belgian Ale from Leffe, the "Leffe Radieuse" is still the best pick of the bunch though.

Thin creamy beige head. Dark copper color. Aroma is malty, fruity and slightly spicy. Flavor is fruity too with alcohol, spices and wooden tones and ends in a bitter dry finish. Medium bodied.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Let’s see now. I liked it: quite creamy. Don’t agree that it was too bitter. Maybe everyone who complained about that is softcore.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 7, 2003 Amber-brown appearance. Very nice nose. I'm not sure about the style, but it's pretty nice. Thick, creamy and a bit malty. Palate however is way too bitter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This time I got a much smaller head than the previous rate. Aroma was the same. Flavours similar except perhaps for some honey and hint of dried fruits and apple this time. A bit fizzier than I remember. Still quite good.
First rated Oct 7 2002: 3.7. Well it sure is nice to have a Belgian again after the array of lacklustre lagers I’ve been rating during the last month. Pours a deep amber clear with a large light-beige medium size, long lasting head. Light yeast with fainter citrus peel, spices and sappy hops aroma. Malt more evident as it warms. Medium body. Medium bitter hops, lighter sweet malt and some perfume/aromatic spice flavours. Bright crisp clean bitter finish and aftertaste. ABV is quite well masked for such medium-light body/flavours. Quite good for a Leffe.

Very yeasty like the other Leffe brews. This is probably the best Leffe but I still won’t buy it again.
