3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Looks purty, dark with tan head. Smells great, lots of madeira grapes. Flavorsome little beauty with the madeira followed by some bitter, not particularly long lasting bitter or palate.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown with a medium tan head. Clear as are all the other Leffe brews, I find this a flaw, I'd prefer to have some cloudiness in my Belgian Ales. A spiced, sweet tea scent. Initially sweet with a spicy bite in the middle. A slight bitter lingers, a nice balance. Does a good job masking the alcohol. Just a notch behind the Radieuse IMHO but one I will have again. Wish it was a bottle conditioned ale, just imagine how much better it would be!

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
(Bottled, at TOT '04) Amber-brown, clear color with average, off-white head that mostly diminishes. An aroma of milk chocolate, straw and a hint of yeast. The flavor is fruity, slightly sweet and acidic, also sour. Finish is long (sticks to the teeth), quite bitter and also sour. Full-bodied, dry, creamy and syrupy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. A very enjoyable, fruity, full and soft strong ale.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. From BeersofEurope. BBE April 05. Creamy it is. And hides the alcohol well. Nice tea-flower and passion fruit flavour. A pleasant and enjoyable beer.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mmmmm. Spicey woody aroma. Finishes with nice dry fruity flavour. Incredibly smooth on the palate. Overtones of pomegranate. A true high alcohol session beer, so easy to drink.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber colored with a typical huge "Belgian head". Fruity, yeasty aroma with notes of bubblegum. Fruity and quite sweet flavor. The alcohol gives it a marzipan-bitter finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber color. Some malt aroma, with a Madeira note. Malt body, quite powerful, but missing a real character. Alcohol touch.
