Bottle. Mahogany, red woody, clear. Plum malty nose with slightly sweet raisins and dark bread. Full bodied, but not sticky, pleasantly dry with a bit of bitterness in the back.Familiar leffe flavours, but with a darker, more raisinous twist. Flavourful and nice.

330ml bottle from a German supermarket. Medium tan head which dissolves quickly. Good lacing. Clear dark amber body. Aroma is sharp to the nose. I notice mostly malt, some wooden aromas and herbs. Excellent palate, very lively in the mouth, but fades as the foam settles. Sweet on the tongue. Some alcohol taste down the throat. Easily drinkable, but not boring. This one is actually pretty good! Leffe recommends that this one is served at about 5°C, but I find that the aromas as more present at higher temperatures.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2013 Butelka 330ml.Kolor bursztynowo wisniowy, klarowne.Piana obfita srednio i drobo pecherzykowa.Aromat bananowo kwiatowy lekko alkoholowy, do tego troche przyprawowy fenolowy. Wysycenie dosc wysokie, szczypiace w jezyk. Cialo srednio niskie, piwo dosc wytrawne. Smak podobnie jak w aromacie z gorycza polaczona z alkoholem na finishu.Bardzo podobne do Leffe Radieuse, odrobine bardziej delikatne, mniej wysycone, mniejsza goryczka na finishu.

Deep copper-Ruby color with a nice head. Aroma of deep caramel red fruit. Taste of spice, alcohol, and fruit. Much drier than the aroma would suggest. By far the best Leffe product I’ve tasted

Bottle (330 ml) @ Pub St-Alexandre (Québec). BB 29-11-2013. Clear amber with a low off-white head and light lacing. Aroma of sweetness, madeira (oxidation), caramel and dark fruits. Taste is moderately sweet with oxidation, caramel, dark fruits and candi sugar. Medium body. Low carbonation. Sirupy mouthfeel. Certainly very different than fresh and a little too oxidized, but still enjoyable and quite complex. Not overly sweet. Interesting.
