Bottle by 30/09/13. Beautiful yeasty-fruity nose, very sparklingly Belgian with plums, cherries, even some wheat. Red body with a creamy beige head. Surprisingly dry in the mouth with hoppy water-sink and strong yeast character. Fruit becomes somewhat less well-defined, alcohol well-integrated with warming after some volume. Scratch-and-soft feel, medium body, and easy to like.

33cl bottle at 1.50€, 8.2%, best bef. feb.’13. Clear dark amber to ginger red and a touch of brown hue beer, lively carbonated with a wonderfull off-white fine head and excellent lacing. It looks magnificent. Fruity and flowery nose. Candy fruits allover, soft malts edge and strong peppery hoppiness, spices, woody, yeast. Warming alcohol. This appears to be definitely less sweet than other Leffe range, the bitter bite is more prominent. Mouthfeel tend to be watery. Final is long, dry and bitter, quite aggressive and sharp, as aged wine do. I prefer the Radiuse, because it’s smoother, this seems more aged and mature, but harsh indeed.

Taste is sweet with a hint of bitterness. Medium bodied with a slick texture. Lightly bitter, dry finish. Alcohol is providing some warmth. Pretty tasty.
