Bottle 330ml. Perfectly balanced, stunning. Aromas of caramel, butter, and also some alcohol. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, and a long warm finish. Palate is syrupy, and full-bodied. Amber colour, with a creamy white head.

What a great drug! Fluffy head that belies the thickness of the creamy, spicy beer. Stewed plums, strawberries cinnamon and bready or shortcake flavours. Went spazzo on the 8.1% for 20 minutes. (skulled it). Will skull again! Bravo.

one of my favorites I do agree with cornboy sometimes it has a wierd aftertaste but the liberal aplication of a second bottle seems to make it disappear for some reason .One of the great beers but not for beginners

Brown/reddish coloration. Good cream. Well balanced bitter taste and alcohol (present, but do not attack). It is a consistent beer. Harmonious. Excellent.

Bottle: Trappist Glass.
One of my favourites in the Leffe Range.
A great dark burgany colour, whith a nice thick off white head that has a good quality lacing. It has a nice aroma, a hint a caramel and malt. Same goes for the taste. lively effervescent in carbonation. Nice aftertaste of candy cane sugar (Slight), caramel and rich malt with a few herbs hidden delicatly. A nice one to savour, it’s like a well bodoed wine to savour and talk about.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 dubs (117) - St Peters, NSW, AUSTRALIA - DEC 11, 2002
Let’s see now. I liked it: quite creamy. Don’t agree that it was too bitter. Maybe everyone who complained about that is softcore.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark amber coloured, with large, creamy off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, dark fruits and spicey. Interesting and nice taste; full bodied, malty, and fruity with a slight bitter aftertaste. Excellent.
