COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Asylum is in the style of a Belgian Tripel. It has a beautiful golden color. Its relatively light body is deceiving for a beer of its character. It has a sweet and spicy, complex fruity aroma and flavor derived from our distinct Belgian yeast strain. Asylum finishes with a subtle, warming character to help you relax on any night. Asylum is an exceptionally smooth Belgian-style brew. Drinking great beer brings the world together. “Vrede op aarde” (Peace on earth).

Bottle. Clear dark orange pour, a little carbonation and an aroma of boozy/spicy candi sugar. Flavor is pretty unremarkable, light malt, alcohol, bubblegum, and a little vegetal.

Tropical fruit nose. More fruit, apple, banana and some spiciness. Alchol hidden yet still noticable.

Clear orange pour with a white head. Citrus, sugar, caramel, and bubblegum on the nose. Light toasted malt notes, hints of alcohol, and a subtle spiciness. The flavor is a bit less enjoyable. Straw, citrus peel, and lots of sugar. Hints of bubblegum, some caramel, spicy phenols, and booze.

Small white head. Hazy deep yellow body. Spicy herbal alcoholic aroma with perfumy notes. Dry-sweet spicy fruity orangey taste with mealy alcoholic notes. Mid-bodied. Hot, sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish fruity peachy spicy aftertaste with mealy notes. Not bad, but too alcoholic and raw. Imperial trippel is not really a good idea. (0.65l bottle, shared by Ole_R.)

0.65 L bottle kindly shared by GeirOve. Pours a near-clear golden body, under a firm white head. Alcohol soaked spices and herbs hit the nose at first. Then a whiff of yeast. Heavy alcohol flavor. Herbs and yellow fruits underneath. Hot in the moth. Full body. Spiced throat-warming finish. Too boozy to be a decent tripel. [09.02.13]

Bottle poured, great color and small white head. Lacing was a not as prominent. Great taste and lighter than imagined but big flavor profiles. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Really good. It’s a lot of ABV. Wrote this once, but forgot what I said. Yeast, fruit. Well rounded.

Golden in color with a copper tint and slight white head. Honey and pineapple aroma. Sweet and heavy bodied for a tripel with some spice notes and a slight earthiness in the finish.
