COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Smooth, clean, and rather rich, with a depth of malt character. This is one of the classic malty styles, with a maltiness that is often described as soft as well as complex.

Excellent lager with more aroma and taste than mass produced brews. Clear Amber color. Medium head and body.

bottle shared with jammer smells like a butt mixed with apples, malty weirdness, not bad, not good, just beer

Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 1/11/15

Aroma: The nose is sweet malts and corn, apple juice, some grainy malts, and a little yeast
Appearance: A clear yellow-golden beer with a small, fizzy head and basically no lacing
Flavor: Taste-wise, it is rather sweet, almost unpleasantly so, lacking balance
Palate: This one has a somewhat cloying feel, with a lively carbonation, and a rather sticky finish
Overall Impression: Weirdly, it seems like no one east of the Mississippi has rated this before me. Anyway, I found this to be fairly poor. At best this is just an okay overly sweet lager. For me though, it is too sweet, and has too much of a corn/adjunct flavor.

12oz bottle pours with a near clear gold body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma offers up sugary sweet malts, a nice little graininess and then a thin vague citrus note. The taste delivers a good dose of sweet malty breadiness where there’s a thin vague mildly tart citrus attempting to balance out the sweetness (but failing). Behind those notes lurks some sweet lagery fruity esters that pushes this sweet beer even sweeter unfortunately.

This was a solid lager. A fullish body yet has a nice character with a hint of hops. Pretty smooth even as it warms up a bit. Yum.

Nice golden pour, small white head. Very light toasted malt aroma. Flavor matches. Very crisp and balanced.

Smells of sweet malt. Has almost a carameled apple flavor. Nice and sweet but not overly so. Floral. Actually quite nice.

On tap @ Left Coast. Clear golden pour with a white head. Aromas of toasted malt, apple juice, and bread. Maybe a bit watery. Some pear notes, too. Flavor is mostly just sweet. Some toast, bread, and grain. Fruity esters of apple and pear. Light grassy hops, mild bitterness, and a light tartness on the finish.
