COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At Left Coast Brewing Co. we pride ourselves on being one of the pioneers of Double IPA style craft beer. This hop monster uses Premium American 2 Row and a touch of light crystal malt to create a solid malt foundation. Five different Hop Varieties are used in the Hop Juice. It spends two weeks dry hopping in fermenter contributing to its great hop aroma. Starts out sweet and finishes with the crisp bitterness of a Double IPA. This drinkable blend will have you HOPPING till nights end.

Poured from the bottle of a four pack into a pint glass. Pours a super non-see thru mystic orange which slowly turns almost white at the top and bottom. Its like an orange color palate. I was kinda blown back by the hops on the first chug but within 5 minutes id finished the first bottle. Its hard to believe this beer is 9.7% except my ears are ringing after 2 of them. This is a winner all the way around!!

Tap. Orange pour with off white head. Smells of resinous hops and malt. Sour/sweet start with bitter finish. Nice ipa ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden with white head. Sweet tropical fruit hop aroma. Boozy fruity up front, then a bitter hop slightly medicinal finish. Not like any other DIPA I've had. Hop juice is a good name, tastes a bit like I imagine it would faster if you put some fresh hops through a juicer and added alcohol. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lots of hops up front, a little bit of pine and some bread malts. Some sweet caramel malts. Color is a deep orange with a small light brown head with okay retention and good lacing. The taste is one of the more subdued youll find in a DIPA. Very sweet caramel malts lead the way, followed by a bit of pine and citrus. Citrus comes through a bit more as it warms. A little bit of alcohol warmth. Surprisingly easy to drink for a DIPA, probably due to its more subtle nature. Overall, this is a pretty good intro to DIPA, but nothing special.

A nice orangey color with a one finger head. Aroma is citrus, piney and a slight sweetness. Taste is predominantly citrusy. A nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Caramel nose. Taste is toffee, caramel, diluted bitterness, honey. Beer is syrupy, honey and bitter orange peel on finish. Tastes fine, not characteristics not what Im looking for in a double ipa.

From bottle. Pours a clear orange with almost no head and no lacing. Taste is caramel malts. Taste is caramel with some citrus, but this is a very malty IPA. Bitter finish. Very light carbonation.

On tap poured a clear dark golden hue w/ a creamy white head. Moderate malty aroma. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a bold bitter finish. Tastes are orange, tangerine, malt and hay. Full bodied and balanced mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bottle. Deep orange amber with a small but dense off-white head. Big malty carmelized aroma and flavor. Muted hop notes, like it had "aged" and toned down. I was expecting a much bigger hop presence.

12 oz. bottle. Pours an orange-copper color with not much of an off-white that disappears as soon as its poured. Got a lot of caramel/candy aroma with almost no hop presence. Taste is the same, just a sticky flavor of caramel and burnt caramel. Finish is more of the same. From all of the reviews, I expected better. I may have to try this one again.
