COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At Left Coast Brewing Co. we pride ourselves on being one of the pioneers of Double IPA style craft beer. This hop monster uses Premium American 2– Row and a touch of light crystal malt to create a solid malt foundation. Five different Hop Varieties are used in the Hop Juice. It spends two weeks dry hopping in fermenter contributing to its great hop aroma. Starts out sweet and finishes with the crisp bitterness of a Double IPA. This drinkable blend will have you HOPPING till nights end.

Slight hazed gold/orange. Some lace. mild head. Aroma is sweet malt/ mild fruit-hops,coconut,exotic fruit, more of a carmel malt aroma it seems like brown/vanilla sugar.May be aged some it seems, mild aroma but nice, almost maltier though. Same in taste, with a stronger mild-fruity vannilla carmel. Strong malt slickness. Piney grassy farily mellow but somewhat sharp bitter. Some saltiness. Prettty good but not a favorate IIPA. Not really into double iPA’s this size but do have some favorates in the 10 abv range.

Color is hazy reddish orange, with a thin white head that disappears. Grapefruit, orange, apricot, pine, lemon aroma. Starts citrus sweet, mango, melon, with viney grass, bitterness and sweet malt move in, and finishes with grassy hops.

Smells piney and slightly fruity. Copper color. This beer is on the sweeter side of Double IPA’s. Thicker mouthfeel. A really solid double IPA. Would buy/drink again.

22 oz. bottle. Pours hazy amber with a large sudsy off white head that settles to a film and lacing. Aroma is sweet mango apricot and faint lime with caramel malt all around. Taste is bitter fruity resinous hops and sugary caramel malt with a little spice and heat in the finish. Palate is full a chalky and dry.

The name reflects the flavor of this beer. Grab a bunch of hops, throw them in the blended, maybe add some grass and you have hop juice. The grains are a balanced level to support the amazing amount of hop flavor. On a warm day this beer is sure to bring a hoppy smile to your face. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Natai (81) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Pours a hazy orange straw with a small white head and good lacing. Stars with a citrusy hop aroma, but quickly shifts to a roasted malt finish. Smooth flavor that retains both its malt profile and hoppy finish. One of the few double IPA’s that manages to maintain a true balance between malt and hops without washing either out completely.

Aroma is citrus/orange, kiwi/lime and a hint of wheat. The flavor is orange/citrus, grapefruit, heavy kiwi/tropical fruit, a strong note of hops resin and a tangy/bitter finish.

Pours a orange, one finger off white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is mostly grapefruit bitterness and malty sweetness... and that carries over intothe flavor with side added candied citrus. finish is resin hops with some grapefruit... dry but sticky on palate. Decent beer.
