At Left Coast Brewing Co. we pride ourselves on being one of the pioneers of Double IPA style craft beer. This hop monster uses Premium American 2– Row and a touch of light crystal malt to create a solid malt foundation. Five different Hop Varieties are used in the Hop Juice. It spends two weeks dry hopping in fermenter contributing to its great hop aroma. Starts out sweet and finishes with the crisp bitterness of a Double IPA. This drinkable blend will have you HOPPING till nights end.

Bouteille 355ml.

Poured from a bottle. Cloudy, burnt orange color with a whitish head. Caramel malty aroma with hints of pine. Flavors much the same with mild bitterness. Medium mouth feel. Dryness and bitterness linger briefly on the tongue. Very enjoyable overall.

Sensoric. Bottle. Clear amber with small to medium, white head. Medicore head retention and poor lacing. Medium aroma of tropical fruits, in the second raw some citrus (grapefruit) notes. Taste is high bitter from the beginning till the end of degustation. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, finish is highly bitter and dry. In general solid IIPA, which I like - bitter and dry, not overload with malts.

355ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, hoppy aroma with a touch of glue, condensed notes of orange and candied orange zest, some lemongrass, cautious hints of green Thai curry, liquorice. Taste is biting bitter hoppy, resinous and piney, caramel malty basis with almond touch, chalky overtones. Dense and concentrated - may work as nutrition for astronauts, but not for me.

17/IX/15 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: n/a (2015-1200)

Clear deep orange beer, big irregular frothy off-white to beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: resinous, grassy, some citrus, sweet malts, caramel, ripe peaches, bit sugary. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: sweet malty start, caramel, sugary, bitter, resinous hops, lots of alcohol, pretty heavy, slightly sourish. Aftertaste: very dry, bitter, resinous, alcohol is clearly noticeable, bit fruity, some canned peaches on syrup, very bitter finish. Decent, but a bit heavy.

Buena.
