At Left Coast Brewing Co. we pride ourselves on being one of the pioneers of Double IPA style craft beer. This hop monster uses Premium American 2– Row and a touch of light crystal malt to create a solid malt foundation. Five different Hop Varieties are used in the Hop Juice. It spends two weeks dry hopping in fermenter contributing to its great hop aroma. Starts out sweet and finishes with the crisp bitterness of a Double IPA. This drinkable blend will have you HOPPING till nights end.

Bomber from bevmo. Copper/Orange appearance. Not much head. Very hoppy on the nose, some pine. Grassy citrus on the mouth, some alcohol on the aftertaste.

Cloudy and hazy orange, thin white head. Smooth hoppy tobacco? Aroma. Medium bodied and lemony with a winey finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured nice aroma flora sweet and strong. Nice hazy Orange color with decent foam head. Taste of grapefruit, pine has a nice bite. Along with earthy malty undertones. A nice balance of sweetness citrus in the beginning with some bitterness on the finish. Definitely notice the 9.7%. Would certainly drink again.

At just on cool and into a snifter. Appears still, misty and headless bar a ring upon the meniscus where it yields great legs when the glass is swirled. Mineral-like, salted pretzels, fresh kelp, tree sap, eucalypt, pine needles, burnt toast and honey make up most of the interesting if not slightly askew nose. Resinous, super oily in the tail and sticky upon the palate. Quite sweet yet boozy and liqueurish but hindered by some heavily weedy hopping. Similar to the nose there is strong notes of kelp, burnt toast, tree sap, gum and eucalypt with a touch of rubber. Residually weedy with a dusty dirtiness. This one wasn’t too pleasant at all. Heated and unbalanced. (12fl.Oz, no date stamp [fresh batch], The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

Bottle, Freo doctor bottle shop, no BB date Probably pretty old, but $30 foo a 4 pack of "supposedly fresh" IIPA is a great deal here, pretty nice , but I would assume it would have had a much bigger hop flavour and aroma hit before shipping.

Bottle, may have been a little past it’s best. A lot of malt in the aroma and some pine and citrus. Earthy and malty, with a little of the smoky/piney hops coming through.

On tap at Oggi’s. It poured a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of peach, florals and a slight touch of pine. The taste was a bit less subtle, loads of bitterness from the piney hop resin and a twist of sweet caramel just before a thin, faded finish. Nice.

Pours a cloudy orange colour with a white head. Aroma is malt, pine, fruit and hops. Taste is medium sweet of fruit leading to a big hoppy finish. Pretty good.

355mL bottle Pours a slightly hazy orange gold body. Good tight rocky white head hangs around. Good nose, packs a good amount of malt upfront, grainy, toasty, light caramels & nuttiness, combining with hop notes of bitter orange, paw paw, woody spice, dried earthy herbs. Full body, not as thick as you’d expect from near on 10%! Creamy carbonation, some oily hop slickness there. Once again, there’s plenty of tasty malt upfront to enjoy; toasted cashew, golden syrup, bit of crusty bread, lays a good backbone for hop notes of bitter citrus, ripe rockmelon & paw paw, cedar & pine, earthy dried herbs. Alcohol quite well restrained. Excellent balance! Enjoyable double IPA! Not as hoppy as most, but makes up with good malt character and balance.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2014 Pours a golden straw colour, not much carbonation. An inch of head, dark yellow in colour. Aroma of sweet caramel and cookie dough with some earthy piney notes at the back. Taste is super sweet, butterscotch and caramel, turning bitter quite quickly. An easy drinking 9.7%, though a bit too sweet for my liking.
