At Left Coast Brewing Co. we pride ourselves on being one of the pioneers of Double IPA style craft beer. This hop monster uses Premium American 2– Row and a touch of light crystal malt to create a solid malt foundation. Five different Hop Varieties are used in the Hop Juice. It spends two weeks dry hopping in fermenter contributing to its great hop aroma. Starts out sweet and finishes with the crisp bitterness of a Double IPA. This drinkable blend will have you HOPPING till nights end.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, resin, wood, citrus, hop oil, and caramel malts. Poured amber in color with a large, creamy, dense, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Excellent lacing coats the entire glass. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, resin, hop oil, slight tropical fruit, caramel, slight graham, malts, light biscuit, and a slight hint of wood. Medium body. Creamy, thickish, sticky, texture. Average carbonation. Bitter, hoppy, caramel and resin finish.

Pours clear and golden with a bright white head. Aroma had a nice hop base, with a little sweetness and some piney notes. Flavor to match with an underlying maltiness to balance things out. Not overly bitter.

Clear golden color, thin/no head, sticky sweet hop nose but no freshness or overpowering hop zest or zip, very bitter with a lot of residual sweetness, sticky and thick, tasty and bitter but really needs some cleaning up and some balancing, it seems sort of like they just made a huge strong ale and then threw a mess of hops into it without a whole lot of care, Im wondering also what sort of hops they did use because it doesnt really have any of those fruity citrus flavors centennial, cascade, or amarillo, so I have to wonder why theyre calling it hop juice... tastes more like citrus rind, maybe I didnt get a fresh bottle or something, but this just wasnt as crazy hop fruity as i had guessed

22 oz. bottle. Honey amber colored. Light head that leaves only a ring. No oil slick or lacing. Scent is light citrussy with piny hopps. Taste is fresh and light. Iced tea and hops. Not gooey or sticky. Bitter bite way at the end. Sweet lipton iced tea is stuck in my mind. And I dont mean that in a bad way. Not a huge beer, but not bad either.

Pours a clear copper color with orange hues. Aroma of hops and citrus.Taste matches the nose with a bit of pine. Drinkable. Not too powerful for a Double IPA.

22 ounce bottle split in pint glass. Clear copper with lasting flat head and some lace. Citrus and pine hoppy aroma. Mild honey orange fruitiness with piney resiny and orange citrus hop flavor. Not excessively bitter due to fruity sweet balance. Medium-full body and medium carbo. Pretty decent. Somewhat assertive without being unpleasant.

On tap at Capones. Pours a hazy amber with orange notes and a smaller off white creamy/bubbly head that left some lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, pine, orange peel, sweet maltiness, fresh resinous hop cones and fruity candy notes. Flavor of grapefruit, pine, lots of hop bitterness and resinous hop juice! Also getting some sweet caramel malt, mostly hoppy with enough malt to help balance at bit. How a double IPA should be. Drink it fresh and love those hops.

Thanks to kegbear for this bomber. Pours hazy golden orange with white head. Aroma is very citrusy and fruity with floral hops. Flavor is unlike any IIPA I have ever had. Flavor is huge dose of citrus and hops but not in a good way. Flavor dominated by sour and musky notes. This beer is a fucking mess. Sort of like DFH 120 gone way bad. Maybe I have a bad bottle but this is just not a good beer.
