At Left Coast Brewing Co. we pride ourselves on being one of the pioneers of Double IPA style craft beer. This hop monster uses Premium American 2– Row and a touch of light crystal malt to create a solid malt foundation. Five different Hop Varieties are used in the Hop Juice. It spends two weeks dry hopping in fermenter contributing to its great hop aroma. Starts out sweet and finishes with the crisp bitterness of a Double IPA. This drinkable blend will have you HOPPING till nights end.

Bottle: Clear gold color with a small head. Citrus hop aroma, with a mostly hoppy bitter flavor. Not as much sweetness in initial flavor as some 2IPA’s. A bit of rubber in the aftertaste. Solid west coast 2IPA.

Tap at New Bohemia. Color is a light piney copper. Very persistent head. Impressive appearance. Aroma is hoppy floral and very appealing. Taste is smooth. A little alcohol, some strong hops, a little malt. A definite hop-centric beer that delivers with good quality. I’ll be sipping in Hop and Juice for awhile. Laid back.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy amber with a light tan head. Strong hop aroma with lots of malt to cut with some sweetness. Long lasting bitter finish.

maneliquor (3257) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 4, 2014
Bottle from Mane Liquor. A seriously sticky and dank driven IPA. Plenty of juicy tropical fruits with heavy resinous notes of sticky toffee and pine. Comes together well, quite aggressive bitterness to finish. Tasty stuff

Aroma is full of spicy and grassy hops. Bitter sticky pine at first, boozy citrus with a balanced malt backing. Lingers nicely on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Incredible hop aroma and taste perfectly balanced with sweet malts. The mix of the two makes the name Hop Juice quite appropriate.

Tap at devils advocate. Clear Orange in triple karmekit glass. Head is short lasting. Some fruity smell but very nice. Very clean taste throughout. Alcohol is hidden well. Crisp finish with the right amount of bitterness. Well done.

Bottle. Deep, ruddy orange, with an almost opaque visual, and a big poofy head. Drinks with some serious viscosity, and a burning, oily resin. But it is quite drinkable for a 9.7% beer, so look out world. (#5449, 3/2/2014)
