3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 crizay (1050) - Brook Park, Ohio, USA - JUN 20, 2008Clear copper pour, medium white head. Aroma is pineapple, citrus and sweet malts. Flavor is full blown hop juice, citrusy hops and a big melon taste to it dominate but there is a nice floral background, sweet caramel is very much there. Resiny aftertaste, very dry mouthfeel, medium mouthfeel. Fresh, bitter but not heavily and just tasty.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 DylansDad (202) - NEW ZEALAND - JUN 8, 2013
The warm alcohol finish tends to blow any subtleties out of the water, but this was a very enjoyable pint of goodness.

Bottle from Bob, dark orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma of piney hops, some citrus and caramel hops. Taste is some grapefruit, piney bitterness, bit of a hot finish, not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Pdubyah (120) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 7, 2013
The taste is sweet, richly malty, and this is an extreme counterpoint to the hops. It’s like there there is a battle for supremacy going on. Starts sweet, has a backing band of bitter and finishes sweet.
It Could be more hoppy and bitter. Shame it’s so sweet, they should have backed themselves and gone the whole hog.

Full end of medium bodied, fine carbonation, agressive hop bitterness in the finish.
Best DIPA of a day touring smaller brewers where it goes to show it ain’t easy to knock out a decent beer of this genre!

Smells of pine needles and some orange zest. Nice balanced flavors. Had this at the brewery and loved it!
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Fantomasus (144) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 28, 2013
It’s good... Pours a light amber orange with a flimsy head of tightly packed bubbles. The aroma is pleasant although I wish it was a tad more potent... caramel, bread, nuts, resin, citrus, and alcohol. Bitterness over a balance of sweet and sour, still nice. Palate is clean and comfortable with lingering bitterness. A solid DIPA but I won’t be buying it again. Just prefer other entries more...
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jimmytalent (80) - New York, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Make sure that this is the last beer of the day. Hop Juice is just that... Hop juice. It pours a beautiful maple amber color with little to no tan cap. Aroma of HOPS and malt. This double IPA has bite. It is all hops with a sweet start and a bitter finish. After drinking this, your palate won't function correctly. Cheers!

4.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 larry3 (5) - Exeter, USA - MAY 24, 2013 does not count
A great beer from a great brewery. They made a very hoppy beer. But amazingly it is very light. Reminds me off hoptimum from Sierra Nevada
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 kathouse (595) - Nevada, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Deep amber with a thick head. Nice hop aroma with notes of pine, tropical fruit, and chrysanthemums. Body is overpoweringly bitter and the sweet malt does not balance it well. Dry finish does nothing to help this one out.
