3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
You’ll need your "big boy" pants on to drink this insanely hoppy brew. The first sign of its major league taste is the color - the deep orange honey texture will literally block out the sun. The drinking experience is unique and it’s best enjoyed in small increments.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from CBX. Hazy copper pour with a fluffy white head. Dank, sticky, grapefruit and tangerine hops in the nose with a bready caramel malt background. Flavor is quite similar yet not as malty as I was expecting with a dry bitter finish. Not too shabby.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from total wine. Pours clear copper with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a lot of sweet orange but little else. The taste has a nice bitterness with a dry finish. There is a bit of a citric balance.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a slightly hazy amber with very little head. Aromas of grapefruit and pine with some caramel malt and a hint of sweet alcohol. Surprisingly light mouthfeel for a beer this big. Alcohol is slightly present but otherwise big pine hop flavors come through. Not as overpowering as expected but instead very balanced.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a murky orange amber with a short off-white head diminishing to a thin skim and patchy lacing. Nose is caramel malt, pine and citrus hoppiness. Taste is caramel malt followed by pine resin and mango. Mouth feel is medium-bodied with low carbonation and a slippery, buttery texture.
Too sweet for my taste - a DIPA (especially one called Hop Juice!) should be dominated by hops, not malt - yet I find that malt dominates in both the nose and the taste. No date code on the bottle, but I wonder if this one is past its prime?

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle poured into a DFH Ale IPA glass--Pours a cloudy gold with a big thick head. Has a citrusy aroma Has a dry taste with a slight bitter after taste. There doesn’t seem to much favor, just a thick dryness. It makes for an easy boring drink. I think the alcohol taste is actually what I’m tasting and not the bitterness. Probably a good beer if you just want to get drunk but there are a lot better IPA’s to enjoy.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle from Harrika’s Brew Haus. Orange pour, hazy clarity with mostly diminishing white fizzy head. Good but spotty lacing. Sweet orange aroma (not a fan) some booze and some malt as the beer warms. Sweet orange hop up front with more of a pineapple finish. Not my favorite DIPA by an means.
