jerc (3056), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 18, 2008 2008-04-18. Hazy orange body with a small white head. Strange aroma, floral, dried leaves over resin, citrus notes are well overpowered. Flavour is quite bitter and has a powerful resiny hop character, decent amount of alcohol is revealed. Back of the throat is grabbed by cumulative hoppy growth. Average plus palate. Interesting, I want to love it but its just a bit rough around the edges for me. Bottle from trade with SDbruboy

Hank1980 (327), Athens, Georgia, USA Jul 6, 2008 Updated: Jul 7, 2008Bomber. Poured a cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is very hoppy with a very complex blend of hops. Some pineapple and citrus present. Taste is similar with more big hops, lemon, pineapple, grapefruit. Some caramel also backing this one up nicely. Mouth is sticky and finish is bitter. A very nice IIPA. TheBeerLover (1008), DC Metro Area, USA Jul 5, 2008 22 oz bomber. Pours to a slightly hazy orange color, with a thick, creamy, white head, and a moderate carbonation. The nose on this beer is fragrant with zesty citrus and piney hop aromas. The palate is firm, with good pale, and caramel malts, paired with zesty/tangy hop flavors of grapefruit and lemon. This beer finishes with more good pale and caramel malt sweetness up front, the ends with a zesty piney/citrus hop bite that lingers. Wow. I found this beer to be an outstanding example of a double IPA. Tons of hop aroma, flavor, and bitterness, with a good malty base to stand up to the hop assault. This is hop juice, in a very good way. A perfect aperitif beer, and a nice beer to sip and relax with as a hop coctail, after a long hard day at work. juiceisloose (281), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 1, 2008 Pours a glowing orange color with a foamy white head that settles fast. The aroma is all hops on this one with the bitter orange and grapefruit hops coming through along with a toasted caramel smell. The flavor is much the same with the bitter citrus and grapefruit hops dominating with some sweet caramel on the back end. The caramel tries to balance things out, but this one is all hop bitterness. Medium bodied and almost sticky mouthfeel from all the pine resin with a long, really bitter finish. This is one of the hoppier DIPA’s that I have had. Pretty solid, but nothing crazy by any means. Beerlando (1157), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 22, 2008 Courtesy juiceisloose. Pours a very lightly hazy, glowing orange amber color. A foamy, off-white head settles quickly, leaving sudsy micro-spot lacing behind. Aromas include a buttery toffee malt base, with bitter orange and grapefruit hops showing alongside a strange, lightly soapy note. Flavors again showcased citrus hops up front, with the toffee intensifying in sweetness on the back end. Medium, slightly sticky body. Pretty straightforward and simple, but lacking in integration. Decent beer. jake65 (1185), Meridian, Idaho, USA Jun 21, 2008 Bottle: Golden copper with a smaller sandy head. Nose is citrusy sweet and floral. Very bright and crisp. Malty and resinlike flavors up front with a lot of floral and citrus hops. Clean, dry finish. Mmmmm, dry hopped! Thanks Sparky77
