2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Clear pale amber, faint head. Salty grapefruit aroma. Fairly sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Salty grapefruit and syrup cookies. Almost agressive resiny bitterness. Shallow, clean and barren.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Has the aroma of coastal air and floral, citrusy, hop bitterness. Its cloudy orangish golden in the glass and the frothy head sticks around for the drink. The flavor is well balanced with 40% malt and 60% hops and the palate is nothing but agreeable. Well done son! now drink up!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Aroma is citrus and resin hops. Pours very beautiful. Cloudy, hazy, light copper colored. Taste has good hop presence with a lingering tartness. Grapefruit bite at end. There’s a little residual sweetness, although its not particularly malty in flavor. Like many of this generations IPA’s there is little going on besides hops.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber. Lots of citrus aroma and flavor in this India Pale Ale. Bitterness throughout, building towards the finish. Does not seem out of balance even though it is hard to find the malt. A crisp and bitter finish. Tasty.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours golden with a tall lingering head. Smells of citrus rind. Medium full nectar with good carbonation. Good malt to hop balance with a bit of acidity bring out a not so tasty flavor of industrial adhesiveness. This brew is very similar to the Torrey Pines IPA. Seems like they tweaked it but couldn’t lose the IA. Would not drink again.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Kris Wines, London. Shared with Slothez. My 1400th rate. Great looking bottle that poured a slightly hazy amber colour with a decent lingering white head. Lovely fragrant resinous hops set the nostrils a twitchin’ in tandem with notes of tropical fruit, citrus and sweet malts. Flavour had tasty fruit notes and belting hop bitterness that struck all the right notes on the palate. Soft, smooth mouthfeel that was wonderfully easy to drink and left you craving another sip as every good beer should. This is an IPA right up my street, and one that I would happily be shipwrecked on a desert island with a case of.
