Trestles IPA is light bodied, clean, and pleasantly hoppy. With every sip this tasty IPA will take you back to your escape, such as local surf spot Trestles. Its strong copper color and clean finish on the palate are created by brewing with a 2-row malt and light imported crystal malt. We use CTZ and chinook hops and follow it up with the addition of dry hops of chinook and centennial in the fermenter bringing out a citrus aroma. Find your escape.

Gold in color, light foamy white head... Aroma of citrus, floral hops... Flavor is pleasantly citrus, grapefruit, caramel malts, notes of toffee throughout, gentle bitterness on finish... Really sessionable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle from sams. pours clear orange amber with a super thin white lace, fading quickly. nose is not as hoppy as I want. Lots of crystal malt sweetness up front, similar to an aged arrogant bastard. Flavor has some bitterness, but its mainly sweet and old tasting. Meh, down the drain it goes.

Great taste, with a definite hop. Very similar to Green Flash beers (which are my favorite).

Pours a clear dark gold orange with thick frothy head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt upfront. Taste follows the Aroma with the caramel malt upfront followed by some floral notes and some hop bitterness on the backend. Pretty good brew but a little thin/watery.

Bottle: Pours cloudy amber-orange with a frothy, off-white head. Citrus, orange-grapefruit aroma. Taste is leafy, resiny bitter...malty. A decent IPA, wish the citrus showed up as much in the flavour as the nose, though.

More in a traditional ipa style than west coast style, the copper color clearly demonstrates its maltier than average ipa body.

Pours a copper-gold with minimal head. Aroma and flavor are both very floral-grassy, with some citrus and a lot of malt present. Not bad but not real great, either.

Very nice IPA with correct hop profile a bit thin but lower abv than many ipa, better than average. Nice lasting head.

Serving: Bottle from State Line Liquors. Nice copper pour with plenty of carbonation. Off white head with pretty decent retention. Very citrusy nose. Nice malt to hop balance for an IPA. Light caramel notes but lots of citrus and lighter pine notes. Medium bodied and easy drinking. Solid brew.

Nice looking beer, orange and slightly hazy, great off-white, slightly orange head that didn’t seem to want to go away, and left sticky lacing. Aroma and taste were very pungently bitter hops, resiny, piney, pine resin, a healthy dose of citrus and citrus peel (lemon, grapefruit), some black pepper and a touch of earthiness. There’s actually a fairly bold malt backbone, but it’s at least partially masked by the plentiful hops, which are certainly the focus of this beer. Body is medium and tangy with bitter hops, leaving a warmimg sensation after each sip that makes this one drink and feel more like a double IPA, and more like a higher ABV beer. I would say if the goal of this beer was to blast the drinker with massive quantities of hops, then mission accomplished. Hop heads should certainly put this one on their list. Overall left coast did a good job on this beer (or is it a hops-beverage with a smidge of malts added?). I would certainly like to have this one again.
