3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Really enjoyed this IPA. Aromatic nose bursted with hops. Crisp, lively texture. Solid malt backbone with hints of cocoa powder, caramel and fresh bread. Hops offered tons of pine, flowers, grass, spices and sweet citrus. Dryish finish with a balanced bitterness. Tasty stuff.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle that I picked up at Beers of Europe, consumed at my mums, Worcester, 16.09.11 Pours amber in colour with a very light haze & white head, haze maybe chill haze from being in fridge for too long perhaps. Marmalade and toffee are the predominant feature here in the mouth, with some citrus on the nose. There is a lingering bitterness and despite the sweetness there is some dryness on the end. Its ok but touch too sweet and lacking the zapiness and intensity that I was hoping for. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber bottle at Mogwai. Helsingborg, August 2011
Sweet and soft aromas of hops, packed with citrus and candy notes. Itís flowery with an incredible resemblance to lilacs. Some scratchy, sharp hops finishes the aroma. Light to medium bodied, taste is filled with grass, flowers, lemons, nectar and last but not least, more flavours of lilacs! Very unique and interesting. Finishes with a raw bitterness.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bomber pours brilliantly clear gold with copper core and off white head. The aroma offers up juicy grapefruit and tangelo as well as lime peel, spicy hops and an herbal like sensation with hints of sugary sweet malts off in the background. The taste is quite bold with grapefruit, tangelo and tangerine like citrus notes that lean more toward bitter hops than flavor hops. Lots of yummy hops here with only echoes of sweet maltiness well of in the background.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very hazy orange amber with a creamy 2 finger off-white head. Aroma seems to be light stone fruits over mild caramel. Some florality. Med body. Flavor is roasted malt with a bunch of mixed hop. Enough hop for it to be harsh and burning. So itís good. I think itís resin with a lot of grapefruit rind - but itís mixed, so Iím uncertain. Tho Iím certain it tastes really hoppy!
